hey..!! guyz, i also purchased a white htc desire a month ago, and very much satisfied with my divice.. and no regrets wat so ever.. my money's got worth buying it..
just wana ask u guys, did anyone of u purchased a " GadgetShieldz™ Full-Body Invisible Protection Film" from Ebay....
does its worth buying, and feed back of it.. even i wana purchase 1 for me, just cunfused a bit..

i have problem with my mobo 816 .. battery wifi web browsing almost 8 hrs and battery down from 100% to 7% and no pro running in Background.. is it normal or not? ..plz answer.. or take it back

3g speed is btr in xperia z.. bcz desire 816 only support 3g upto 7.2mbps
Processor btr in xperia z.. it has snapdragon 600
While in htc desire 816 has snapdragon 400

Hey guys Im using this mobile from 23 days. I bought gray color. nt from flipkart, I will not re write specs again here.
Body = by look its sexy, slim. looking pretty n giving rich look but, back plastic body is not so good. attract fingerprints n scratches. I have suggestion u can buy full body guard, its same like screen guard it covers full phone body. cost upto 600Rs.
Screen = very good, sharp. best to watch videos, gaming . but little dull in direct sunlight. no problem at all.
Performance = excellent, no any lag, no any hanging problem. switching between apps is fast. no any loading or waiting. gaming is best no any lags.
Audio = best audio experience. loud & clear. the headphone quality is also gr8. but headphones are not ear pack. its regular. :(
Camera = Gr8 camera. frnt camera is v. good for selfies. rear 13mp gr8. HDR mode is also gr8.
Memory = 8GB internal, who worries it have expandable 128GB. RAM 1.5GB , I love it still my mostly ram is empty.
Battery = i think 2600mah is little small for this giant. if ur heavy user u need to find charging point after 10hrs. but if ur moderate user its usefull for full day.
Overall very nice phone. U can prefer this than sony t2 ultra, samsung grand2.

Hi everyone plz check ur power usage I have the problem I have not used WiFi for 2-3 days and it is showing that my WiFi is totally on. plz check in ur HTC 816 go to settings » power » history. Check it and let me know is this problem with me or by default it is . I don't think it is by default

Hey can I change the camera cover means it's glass over it because it gets scratched and the photos are Not coming right it's blur

Finally got the grey one after researching so much. I was looking at T2 ultra and Samsung note 3 neo. needed dual sim so note 3 cancelled and rejected ultra T2 for lesser ram and difficulty to handle its bigger screen while travelling.
Using desire 816 for last 5 days. Brilliant phone, great looks, good camera, battery life is good - suggest using the power saving modes more often while youe phone is idle. Free case coming with this phone does not look good - need to search a new one.
Easy multitasking - very responsive, great front and rear camera, No lag what so ever till now. Back side of the phone is prone to scratches so be carefull on that part. Videos running like a charm but i guess its MKV format videos, where video runs without audio. need to check that on net.
Overall its a real beauty.
