Hay guys I liked this phone very much but m a confusion dat can we use both gsm Sim with 2G....or is it compulsory that one should be 2G and the other should be 3G....

2. relatively bigger battery (3000 mah non removable vs 2600 mah non removable,but 3000 mah is for 6 inch display)
3. nfs- t2 has nfc feature while desire 816 not
Buy desire 816 for:
1. better processor(1.6 quad core vs 1.4 quad core)
2. Display( both have hd display,816 using super lcd 2 technology while t2 is has IPs lcd with Triluminos technology )
3. more ram(1.5 gb vs 1 gb)
4. storage( both have same 8 gb but t2 can support upto 32 gb while desire support upto 128 gb)
5. camera( both have Same 13 mp rear camera but desire has 5mp front cam while t2.has 1.1 mp)
Android- (4.4.2 vs 4.3)
6.UI- HTC sense 6 vs Sony Timescape
7. speakers- HTC desire 816 has dual boomsound speakers(best till today)
8. design- desire 816 has beautiful eye catching design but its back panel catches fingerprints and also available in different colors while t2 ultra is not)

N the worst part is that u can't transfer those to the expandable memory as it's emulated by default... N no update can help u to transfer those apps... M not sure if HTC has the same issue but I won't recommend zr.

Its dual sim type. Sim slot 1 can support both GSM/CDMA Primary 3G nano sim and Sim slot 2 is only GSM nano sim.

Because the storage is showing my SD card along with exact size on it. Moreover I installed Poweramp and its playing the songs from SD card perfectly. Only the inbuilt music player of Desire 816 is not showing the SD card folders. Anyone have any solution for this?

The best part abt this phone is theat the bettery never gets over charged once its charged up fully it just stops taking the charge and even the charger cuts off as it at notmal temp not warm or hot atall.
love that thing atleast.
