U can delete them no probs won't affect ur data but try clean master b4 deleting them manually just to make sure that all the junk files r gone

accidentally i deleted my photos and videos in the gallery of my phone htc desire816G. can i recover them back. please guide me....

The internal memory of my phone always shows around 1gb free only
I have just checked that there is something as "thumbdata" in the phone memory acquiring 2.4gb space, this does not open as text, photo, video or any other format. This is stored in DCIM-thumbnails-thumbdata.
Can please someone assist if this is something to do with any other data stored on my phone or if this can be deleted so that I can get additional internal memory?

Hi guys , I've Desire eye but one of my friends has Desire 816, the 816's android ver is 4.4.2 and there is no update menu in her phone's setting , i conncet her phone to my laptop to update it from htc sync manager but there was not any update menu even in sync manager !!!!
i dont know whats wrong with her phone ( some other parts like power saving and U power saving is unaccessable and off and i cant delete some apps and it install and update apps that we dont know where they come from )
i checked the phone IMEI and other parts , and its original
I'm very thankfull of U 4 u'r answers
main problem is that how could i update the android ver???
and how could i understand that the phone is not refresh or root ???

my htc 816 dual sim device getting automatically shutdown, whenever i m going to use tht without charger it automatic shutdown., for restart i must have to connect charger then only its on and in Charing time if i open camera dn tht time its also shutdown....

617, 07 Aug 2015Thanks ya My concern is when I am trying to get movies ont... moreto be sure i restored the factory sitting to see exactly how much storage left it is 2.8 gigabyte without any app updates or htc sense home update so after all the updates and the within a couple of days u will notice system space got bigger u will be left with 2 or 1.8 gigabytes sry dude but even if u don't install any apps will only at maximum watching the 2GB movie for me because i too need space but only for apps will not update most of the apps this time especially FB that's alone after update is like 250MB or the htc sense 100MB It's crazy dude don't update not worth it U will need the space .. I really just dont want u feeling about ur phone what i fell about mine now . so as always U ONLY UPDATE IF U KNOW U WILL NOT USE MORE THAN 2GB FREE.wow that was long, best of luck bud tell me what u decide ,really curious :))
