I bought this phone a month before n completely satisfied with it as at this price we have sony t2ultra only with 1.4ghz n 1gb ram n 245ppi display to be frank u look at 2 or 3 reviews u will get better idea of this phone

Hi i bought this handset 3 weeks ago till today the phone was ok but today im facing issues with the battery & over heating of the handset even when it is switch off now after restart it has cooled down but can anyone suggets the solution for this.

I'm using the phone for about 2 weeks now. And i'm totally satisfied with its performance. The cameras (both, primary & secondary ) are good. Only lack about the camere feature is multi focus on the primary and focus feature on the secondary cam. Then obviously if there is dual led flash, it would even be better. Apart from the focus and flash, the camera is completely good.
About the battery, i keep 3g always on and rare calls. and minimum 2 to 3 hours browsing on internet and playing music. For all these the batters standby time is more than one full day. Which is too good when compared with other phones. And a proper file manager application is missing. Installing any 3rd party application is quite easy but the ads will be annoying.

Friends i have purchase this phone to gift my brother 2 month back,after receiving immediately he complain that HTC desire 816 camera is totally bad.After capturing image,the image gets darken within 2 seconds.I have done everything to resolve this issue guided by HTC .But end result is zero.Do not buy this phone,totally waste of money.

BIJU, 09 Aug 2014guys i will little bit confused abt htc desire 816 dual sim... morei suggest you better go with other phones than this. i bought this phone 10 days back and totally disappointed by the camera and battery life. this is not the right choice untill they fix camera and battery problem.

I am going to buy a phone so I am ... moredude i got this phone 10 days back and i am not satisfied with camera and battery life at all. seems to be the camera only 5 mega pix, though written 13 meg pix. its horrible. i think you better go with other options and company. i will not advice anyone to buy this phone.

since along time i wanted to buy any smartphone,my friends advised me to buy samsung but i wanted something diiferent. at last i saw htc 816 whose specifications were perfect and finally got it online.after receiving first day it was ok, later i took some fotos but the fotos were not like you expect from 13mex pix camera. if you use wifi battery drained rapidly. this totally disappointed me, wanted to give it back but not possible, feels like i did serious mistake. i advice everyone not to buy this phone and go through another one. this is rubbish and the company is cheating us.

Egyman, 10 Aug 2014yeah i have the same issue with the battery some times powe... moreI bougt this phone two weaks ago, and i dont have any such problems at all, but u must be sure to charge ut around 11 hours first time out of the box, and then it will be really decent, i faced the problem first but with regular charging times its very decent now. And be sure to charge it with the original charge that came with it. Cz another charge may harm the battery. Really the battery is very decent.

U r buying a phone for 300$ that is really awesome and u cant find anything better at this price point. Just a bit of care and its gonna be fine.trust me.

The glossy plastic on the back is a finger print magnet but if u get the white one that will not be a problem at all. And the matte finish on the sides really makes this device felling a lot better. Believe it feels solid in the hand pretty slim and easy to handle. The iphone build quality is going to be better since u r comparing aluminum with plsstic. But for me i would go with the desire 816 its suits me better than any phone else. And its almost half the price of the iphone. So i think the choice is now clear.

I am going to buy a phone so I am ... moreHey there, i bought the desire 816 about two weeks ago, nd its awsome, everything is more than it should be at this price point the speakers are just something u cant expect, the screen is hd yes, but its really awesome in viewing angles and colors. U wont notice a difference except when putting another 1080p beside it. And its not that much huge difference. For me i would go quuckly for the desire 816, i love htc and they love us. A second choice would be the sony t2 ultra with its great design and slim. but for me its a bit too big so the desire 816 would be better. Grand 2 is bad really awefull in performance compared to what the desire 816 offers. And the moto x is small for me and i dont like its stock android neither its design. So if u want my advice go ahead desire 816 best choice

And yeah its butter smooth and u wont notice any problem while multitasking or gaming or anything else its very fast w fluid.
