How is performan... moreYes front camera is 5mp really but dont expect much from it, but its really good and will take pretty great selfies for u at any condition, the rear camera is also very nice, i didnt noticed any problem with it so far, takes great phontos with high details its a bit weak at low light but the flash gets the job done, believe there is nothing u can complain about here, i have never seen a phone at this price poont better than this.

I am going to buy a phone so I am requesting to everyone to help me to choose a best device for me. Which will be the best in HTC desire 816, Samsung Grand 2, Moto X, Sony Xperia T2 Ultra. My preference is HTC desire 816, Please help me by giving more and more opinion. I am waiting.

Htc did it again! It has it all. No lag so far. Fair game play interface. With the boomspeakers(the best),media is awesome! Best for movies. Decent battery backup, lasts upto a day! Camera pretty good. Front camera the best! Internal memory could've been more but it'll do.
Lastly it's the best for its price! 😎

I m having blur pics frm my 816 ,thn later on i removed the lamination from the back panel ...now i found my camera lens is alrdy scratched .
What can i do know ??

This is absolutely the best phone ever at this price point nd even at higher points its really great, i bought it about 2 weeks before and i havent noticed any problem at all. Everything is awesome, dont worry about the build quality, its really great, if u get the white color its the best it will hide a lot of finger prints. The speakers are really more than what they should be, performance is really smooth like butter, gaming is smooth with great graphics, i have been playing real racing 3 and there is no issues at all. Really beleave me there is nothing to complain about here, the camera is great,its a bit not that much at night but really its nothing to worry about its awsome, it gets the job done easily, the screen is hd but its color reproduction and contrast are awesome. i love it alot and its battery life is really really really fantastic, it lasts the whole day easily and even two days at normal usage, but it lasts me the day easily and im a heavy user. Really if u have 330$ dont waste time nor money on another phones, this phone is awsome...

Rocky, 04 Aug 2014Its been around 4 days i am using da phone...Battery is dra... moreyeah i have the same issue with the battery some times power finish within 4 hrs and some times 8 hrs i dunno why also i replaced this mobile once coz i was facing a speaker problem its awesome mobile but HTC have to find anyway to fix battery problem i dont face any problem with this mobile except battery when i charge it 100% and start use it after 10 or 15 mins it decreased to 90 % which is the batter must be 3000 or 3500 not 2600 :(

I bought this phone 3 weeks back the POWER BUTTON is not working now. And I'm unable to play IRON MAN 3 also from the first day I bought the phone. WRONG CHOICE!!!

I bought this phone two months ago no issues at all for 23 grands its a good phone.
Issue started a week ago
First my headphones now dont work for calling purpose ,even when music played i can only hear the music ,no voice.
Second the phone Screen started flickring .
Third.
To check if its a software issue which is making the screen flicker, i have backed up all my data on SD CARD transferred all contacts,music n photo.
Once the backup was done my SD CARD stopped getting detected.
I have done the reset full system restore.
Even after that my SD CARD not getting detected and still unable to hear properly from my headphones.
I have contaced Support they can only suggest to visit the service center.
I am writing this for you all,if anyone experienced same issue please suggest solutions.
I will also recommend HTC to dobsome research and provide fix to all such issues.
Its a beautiful phone and i dont want to brick it or explore it for hardware upgrades.which will void my warranty,so please HTC take some initiatives and suggest RESOLUTION.

i am using this device from a month. i have gone through all opinions. people have few issues:
1. battery: guys battery last 1 day with normal use and remember you are using android not nokia 1100. do charge 100% in morning and when it reaches 30% it automatically ask you to activate power saving mode.
2. speakers: guys front speakers matters a lot. u dont need to cup your hand to rear speakers to listen loud and yea it is crispy and nyc.
3. performance: awsome performance, thanks to cortex a7 clocked at 1.6ghz. gpu performs well.
4. camera: best i have used yet on device. need more then buy canon, but for a phone its more than enough.
5. heating: ya it do heat but wont burn your hands.
i am satisfied guys. do buy it if you hav to pay 23k. and htc provides nice service. and ya do get your device insured its better option. good luck :)
