So far I have heard that the desire 820 has been facing at least one of the following issues before the update:
1. Excessive overheating during gaming and even normal use.
2. Battery drain issues.
3. Phone unable to switch to 3G network from 2G.
4. Screen tends to lock suddenly on its own.
5. A few people have said that their phone hangs/freezes suddenly, although such complaints have been less common.
What I wanted to know is that have these issues been fixed after the update? Also please tell me if any new issues have come up after this update.

If anybody facing automatic screen lock problem just remove your flipcover and use ur mobile.. it will definitely works

I am going for htc 820 for boom sound. But i read that after updating, effect of boom sound lost. So what will i do now,???? Should i go for htc 820 or another one

After latest System update battery backup increased by 30-40%, heating problem reduced. Overall performance of phone Camera is Good , sound excellent, software issue Nill, i am using this phone since one month, i am satisfied

On a serious note ths is the best phone i would suggest every one to go for it. bougt 820 two days ago, agree their was heatng issues but got resolved after updating phone with recent update released by htc. Thnks htc for such a good gadget..
