something I like to share with HTC. Please take care of your old products. If you are giving some upgrade please check. My mob HTC 820 seems to go on a blink off and on after google play upgrades. I suggest people should not take it lightly. My ticket no. 15INA480020709 and my mobile was repaired with old software from the factory maintenance centre. The service should have upgraded my software and given to me and should have warned me that the upgrades do not work on google play. Please do not buy HTC which gives false promises and do not run the software updates checks prior to sending them on mobiles. I am supposed to find out and tell them how their software works. I am gain to run to their service centre waste my time and energy. I would still think Samsung is the best. I hope all the people agree and do not buy fly by night operators.
Please note the mobile is not value for money.

My desire 820 hanging problem after updating to Lolipop....
I factory reset and run phone with safe mode, problem continues...
Most hanaging problem occurred when playing videos and when taking Google chrome browsing.
Pls help me

after lolipop update my htc desire 820 became faster. and a little improvement in bettery also. Nice go for update all

Yesterday i've received notification for system up... morenothing new except that it is a tad quicker and there is a separate setting for changing lock screen wallpaper if u dig into the settings.

I am using HTC Desire 820 single sim mobile as i got the notification for software update i downloaded the file and select install now.
Just started the installation for 2-3 seconds and turned to some weird error icon. Installation is not done then i forcefully restarted the phone and tried the same again and the result is same again.
Could anyone suggest what i need to do to software update and avoid the error displayed.

Hi!
Had a neggative experience with this HTC model.
After only 1 week of usage, I couldn't turn on the phone...the red led continuosly blinking as if the baterry were down to 0...charging, turning it off, pulling out the baterry => no resolution ...
Found then the same issue at other users.
Besides this, the phone seemed to work fine...excepting the long timp for turning it on.

Worst Phone i ever had. Phone got dead two times in last 7 months. I gave it to service center, both times i was waiting for 1 month so out of 7 months two months mobile was in service center. I bought this in Flipkart. I dont recommend HTC 820 & Flipkart to anyone.

I am using this phone since january 2015. Great performance. No lag issues. Recent lollipop update has slowed downa bit.
But overall a recommended set.
