i have build version:8.1.12 of the google play services and unable to update it.
please someone guide me in detail how to do update it.

Hi, I upgraded my HTC 820desire to Lollipop and it works perfectly fine after upgrading Google Play as well.
Battery life has surprisingly become better and UI also is descent.
Phone heats up lesser than before..
Overall a descent upgrade..

I also installed lollipop .mobile hang problem runned only 1 hour when i installed updates and application . But latter 1 hour its working smoothly . Many functions added new limes panorama and screen graphics .

performance is good but battery goes down in no time while u use internetor some ram consuming apps...............
it does'nt lag or hang in factory stock version but in lollipop it is see other's conversation for other commitment............

The good thing is when updated to lollipop u finally get the feeling of excitement, but you all should know that it's not very good

One more issue i found after lollipop update is that in airtel site htc 820 is not showing a 4g device..i called up to cstmr care regarding my 4g issue,but they told dat ur cell is not a 4g supported phone...yesterday 4g was working..after update its not working...how it is possible...

Another problem appeared after upgrading to Lollipop. the compass don't work.
it gives " magnetic sensor error. please rest your device "... any solution?

Those having freeze/lag or any kind of problem after installing lollipop update, just factory reset your phone.
Do it by pressing the volume down and power key together when the phone is turned off, or restart your phone and press vol down before backlight comes up. Make sure to take a compelete backup before doing this.

Got lollipop 5.0.2 in india yesterday...updated it ...no major changes in themes n ui...only notification bar changes and recent apps got card style which lags a bit...
