Sound during phone calls is low, even with settings at highest level. Htc connect runs slow. Apart of this we are quite satisfied with the 825

M using HTC 820 since last 2 yrs.d ph is nice,camera is very good but d most important problem is d battery of this..battery is draining soo fast it is rediculous and also ph is hitting very fast.

Its been 2 years now since I have this phone and its still going strong.. The performance is great, the camera is good and it looks good. Coming to the cons, the battery life is patethic and now after 2 yrs, it has to charge all day which lasts upto 2 hrs only with full usage, heating issues are there but u can roll with it, atleast it won't blast. Also the phone is too big, it wont fit in pockets easily and if it does its too uncomfortable. But still happy with the performance and now time to change it.

joan, 28 Sep 2016same problem.. my phone was shoutdown and not charging..... moreFaced the same problem.. phone shut down and its not charging. I have updated it to Android 6. It might be an issue.. Dont upgrade to android 6. Its causing more problem

i am using htc 820 desire from 2014 itself...after 6 months the phone is stuceked.and then serviced in the custamr care..aftr that last month one of my sim card slot is not working..its dead..now using with one sim card slot.and i am fedup with htc..so my advice is simple as that dosent buy htc mobile..poor battery ..heating prblm..sim card slot not wrking...

Hi all
I'm using an HTC 820 like this without any case or even LCD protector. This is my everyday phone for over a year and a half now, and it's fallen to the pavement a few times, it has scratches and scuffs, but it still works ok. My two problems are the battery life, and the heat issues. When I do something more demanding, the phone heats up, and battery drowns 1% every minute. Even with the GPS and google maps. If I only do a couple of calls, the battery lasts almost four days. Despite the shitty battery time, I think my next phone will be the HTC 820 successor if there is or will be such a thing.
