rohith, 10 Feb 2015prakash may i know whch colour mobile ur's and what about ... moreI have Desire 820 i.e the one with Snapdragon 615 chipset and 2GB of RAM. I got grey color but I think white color is better. About the camera, the front and rear cameras take quite good photos when there is enough light but in low light conditions the quality of photos are not good.
One more thing the Indian version of HTC Desire 820 doesn't comes with NFC. I have confirmed the same from HTC.

I am using HTC Desire 820 from almost 1 month now. The battery life was not good earlier but after turning blinkfeed off I am getting better battery life and remember battery takes sometime to perform at it's max capacity. I didn't faced any such heating issue. The max temp that I saw on my phone is 41 deg while heavy gaming which I think is fine for an octa core device. The only thing that I am concerned about is that the power button and volume buttons are little bit loose on my phone. Is there anyone who is facing such issue ?

After reading one of the comments on improving battery backup i did the following 2 things
1) Turned off location in settings
2) Disabled fastboot in power settings
After doing these 2 things i have observed a significant improvement in battery backup i would say 30-35% increase in battery backup. Other users can try this as it definitely worked in my device.

I have been using this phone from past 2 months.
Heating issue is 80% solved with latest update released some time around in 1st week of Jan.For battery backup use any launcher(I am using CM launcher).Don't use blink feed as home screen.Standby time is awesome just use 10% for 12 hrs standby time.Always on power saver option.Eagerly waiting for android L and HTC sense 7.0
