For ur kind info Desire c also has a adreno 200 gpu.pls get ur facts right first and then comment.
It luks better than mini 2,has 5 mp autofocus vs 3mp fixed focus cam,bigger screen and is priced around 220 USD or 12000 INR vs 280 USD or 15000 INR of mini 2 which is useless really.
All that extra price for what?800 mhz cpu?gsmarena says it's based on the same Arm v6 architechture as mini(though some websites say it's Arm v7)while desire c has Arm v7 snapdrapon s1 chipset which is more advanced.so whichever way u see it desire c wins.

This is probably the second worst HTC release ever (first is HTC Wildfire). 600mhz, no flash, no secondary camera? And they named it "desire". These specs are something you can see in phones released 2 yrs ago. You have to be pretty darn stupid to buy this phone. AND it will probably be overpriced as many other HTC models. HTC - what a mistake with this release!

ive read about desire c from another site,they said desire c has adreno 205, is it true or what? cause here in gsmarena there is no gpu?! hmm. . . can anybody clear this out?

I got a mail from HTC stating that they are not presently going to launch in INDIA so please guyz change your plan its an official news from HTC F*** waiting for the past 2 months to buy this

If HTC Desire C comes with a camera-flash, and a secondary front-facing camera at an affordable price (but not-overpriced), then it will be a super-phone in the market.

This is a budget phone being given a top end phones name in an attempt to sell the thing. In the last year I have bought Desire A8181 (2nd incarnation) Desire S (3rd incarnation) the Desire C is not a true Desire its a Wildfire! I also have an Sensation XE it's like the one serious one v is a budget one s is the true Desire S upgrade not the C that is the wildfire upgrade without a flash.

[deleted post]I owned the Desire A8181 and then Desire S and now Sensation XE and I am telling you the Desire C is a budget piece of rubbish and HTC should not of giving it the Desire name it's a wildfire spec not Desire and HTC are obtuse morons for going anywhere near budget phones they made their name and money with highend quality phones.
If you have an HTC one X then your comment does not make sense but I think you own a wildfire or something like it no one owning a one X would say what you did.
It is a piece of junk and fit for the dustbin only.

Y r people craving about no led flash and front cam?it's competition also doesn't have it.i think this device is better than galaxy mini 2.but it's price must be much less than SE Live with walkman or else it'll loose to the higher specced and very competitively priced SE walkman.

For example, car A got 6 seats; car B got 4 seats. both cars' max speeds are 600km/h.
If now you're needed to send 12 people from US to Canada as soon as possible, it's sure that you'll get the job done quicker when you're using Car A, isn't it?
ARMv7 CPU is like the Car A; ARMv6 CPU is like the Car B.
