If you don't like HTC phones it's not our problem, but beware of the hate because you may explode one day because of it lol, I really feel sorry for people like you, you try your best just to make people avoid HTC phones but you can't :)
Bye and stop wasting my time please, as you can see I'm here to assist the users and don't have time for your stupid games, play somewhere else kid.

AnonD-422, 08 Apr 2011 HTC = poor quality made in china, shiny but scratchy plast... moreFor your information...most of the manufacturing units are in China...
Example: Apple iPhones are designed in California, but assembled in China.
Scratchy plastic ??? ...Hahahahahha...I guess you dont even own a galaxy S...that has a cheap plastic back cover....
Less Signal...??? Do your homework mate...HTC has dual signal antanea...one at the battery panel and the other at the place where you put the sim card.
Outdated OS...why you Galaxy S Guys were cribbing when HTC started with devices with Froyo....and you were still there in Eclair...???
There are many more...you post and I would ahve answers for you...!!!
Do some more research and then come back...or else just play with your plastic...

AnonD-422, 08 Apr 2011 Why HTC sucks : poor support. No upgrades. btw my Samsung... more@Alvin...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-389022.html
You are claiming HTC sucks just because of the above mentioned link from XDA-Developers....I guess you need to read the complete thread rather than just reading thread header "HTC sucks big time." If you realize this issue is for HTC Shift...which was hardly sold for few months and then stopped... "xda-developers > Legacy Devices > HTC Shift > Shift General > HTC sucks big time." This is the root of the link from the forum... It would be really nice and justify your decision about HTC Desire HD sucks....if you can provide some solid information about this particular device....
In this form we are here to review and provide our experiences based on some facts rather than your gut feeling...
However, regarding the gingerbread update for Galaxy S....they are just trying to cope up with the delay they made on giving Froyo updates for their devices...however, HTC has well formally announced the gingerbread update in the Q2 2011, that would be somewhere between Apr. - Jun 2011...and not like Samsung...delaying their update again and again and doing a falsification to their own commitments...
So think before you post....!!!

i'm so glad that i bought this phone, using it for a week now and so far everything works like a charm, i don't know about other people talking about poor battery life but i have charged mine just 2 times in a week, i am an average user so i'm not complaining...again happy to finally switch Nokia with something better after 10 years of Symbian i think i had enough of the monotony...anyway i love the HTC Desire HD and would definitely recommend to anyone who is having second thoughts to get one :)

Having used both android 2.2 and windows phone 7, i'd say pay extra for android, windows phone 7 has very little to offer.
