i too faced this problem when song is playing but no volume either through speaker or headphones but restarting the phone solves all the problem :) , i would surely recommend this phone :)

I have recently switched over from nokia, due to their oudated and dull symbian software, to htc and iv had the htc desire hd for three months so far and its the best!!! battery life isnt great but its not bad either and i have not experienced any problems with the phone. Its much better than an iphone and most of the apps are free. Its really an all round phone.

any info on when is the 2.3 upgrade being launched in India
any specific dates...I am tired of checking it everytime,,they still say 1st half of April any other info...thanx in advance

Richard Chin, 30 Mar 2011After it update to 2.2.1, it really work as fast as before,... morei have an opposite expereince on my pdhd, after i upgrade it last week to 2,2,1 it slows down, lag up mroe often and sometimes animations doesnt work.. and when some one is calling me while im suefing the net the screens turns into black and i dont know whos calling, i have to reboot my cp again manytimes, can you please help me with this, ho can i return it to 2.2 only and then ill reinstall the 2.2.1

My friends have this phone and it seems incredible. I would really love to get this as my next phone. The only thing putting me off it that they complain about the battery life. I dont know whether I should wait to see what type of battery life the htc pyramid has before buying this.
The specs are amazing, but I wish htc would concentrate on better batteries next time so we can enjoy this to its full extent.

Yeah this is good phone , but for me battery is not problem . DHD meets my needs , no hanging and working fast .
I really like the phone and we have plenty of users here satisfied with it ;)

Anonymous, 29 Mar 2011unfortunately not.. european network isnt ready yet for vid... morevideo calling has been available in the europe for years. numerous phones have been available with secondary cams. htc are only just starting to include secondary cams on their newer handsets.

heyy can anyone tell me abt htc hardware ?? Like is it duarable like nokia phones cauze am planning to get a new htc mob .... So juss read a comment which said "my htc went back wid a shatted screen on its first fall " i was like wth !! those who hav HTC DESIRE HD can you please tell me how often do you charge your cell when you use 3G services..i am a heavy internet user and i dont want to charge the cell every 6 hrs...ill buy this phone only if the battery last minimum 1 day...so please tet me know...thank you..
P.S i know this is one of the best phone in the world..battery is the only problem.
