I have DHD and my Bro has Galaxy S. I used both.....

1. 8 MP Cam with dual LED Flash ( However not much
difference in picture quality)
2. Great Build quality and Great UI HTC sense
Both phones are good at their own place still I would say Galaxy wins but cant say that one is better then the other....it up to personal choice.

to battery life.my 2nd charging so it still not formated as should be,some calls some wifi not too heavy,i finished charging at around midnight of tuesday and still have it in yellow field so i played for 2 days which is not such bad for almost new battery and 4.3 screen.expected worse.who has a problem with short batlife recommend proper formating and sometime is necessary to do hard reset because some t/p apps even after uninstalling leave mess on the phone which can cause shorter life.i owned couple androids and it happened me on each one after reset battery again worked longer.cheers!

I have heard that the FM radio reception is not good in India.
I have HTC Desire Grate phone but FM radio reception is very BAD is it same in DHD too??

Anonymous, 26 Jan 2011I have to make decision between Galaxy S and Desire HD L... moremate im in the same boat as you.trying to decide between the galaxy and the dhd.truth is the qalaxy has better music and video playback/record so on the multi-media side of things the qalaxy wins although dhd users say that the dhd is good with headphones and its the external speaker thats bad.external speaker to me is not a problen.more important though headphones.think ill probably go with the dhd in the end as the galaxy is said to be laggy and doesnt have a cam flash and also dont like the plasticy feel it has.i own a wave s8500 and also find samsung to be a bit slow with updates and bug fixes.think ill take a chance with the dhd.
