Of course i will enjoy the phone with it's features but not using the 3G, wi-fi & auto-update for 24/7????
This what i meant, for example if i am out on field work, then will check my mails ( not every time, maybe every 3 hrs ).
Also, no use to hear music on phones if u have Ipod...;)

there is swipetype text in samsung galaxy 5 i9000. but this is not avl in desire HD. Is this a big difference. What is swipetype text.

I just noticed that alarm doesn't sound if phone is switched off ....this is strange as in all my previous phones it used to sound even though phone is off. I used symbian and windows mobile even basic phones. I guess this is with all Android phones.

Sakhib, 23 Jan 2011I have just one question : I am worried about the back p... moreDear Sakhik,i own one and dont think it will be a problem,do what i did,i bought a 16 gig mem card now i dont have to open the back,just to be on the safe side.But this is just one awesome phone!!

I gt mine today for 26500/- .So far Im enjoying every feature of this great phone. No problems or issues. Touch screen feels like silk, smooooth.... camera and video recording, excellent with flash of without. Speaker Quality acceptable. Handsfree, tricky design but excellent sound through dolby and SRS. Will check other features by tommorow, will keep u guys updated...

And how can I get the birthdays of my contacts who are not on Facebook to show up in my calendar?
Is there anyone knowledgeable on this forum that could give out useful tips on these 2 issues?

I think i know what does he mean. In Nokia when the alarm is set & you switch off the phone, the alarm will ring. This is true...
So maybe he is meaning the same.

I am worried about the back panel, for SIM card and memory card, will it lasts for long period. If we use it continously, will it break or what ?
Can some one plz reply ??, the one who already own this ?? plz ??

Sorry but I use to set my alarm for next morning before going to bed and shutting the phone down... And it was still ringing...
So if you don´t know, that´s ok, but save yourself sometime and just don´t reply anything!

All you need to do get your sounds edited with this application. After you have edited the sounds download it to your phone you'll hear the improvement of the sounds.
