I posted a comment on the Samsung Omnia HD forum, but no one replied me, si I will post it here as well.
The Samsung Omnia HD has a free GPS navigation?? I am talking about basic things, NOT about some extra features. :) Thank you.

How is the Desire HD Audio Quality while connecting the HTC 3.5mm Headphones ??.. is it Great? or have problems ??

Sounds not so good... morei never watch movies or listen to music via phone, so i guess i will not have a prob. with the speaker. But how is the sound when you recieve a SMS or Call? is it cool?

Sounds not so good... its like listen to 18th century radio lol. it sucks and it sucks realy bad. but u can hear the ringtone. all my life ive had my phone on vibration so it aint a bother for me. but after speaker which is a mono speaker not a stereo one. this is one the baddest beast(phone) on the land.

[deleted post]It is either 1 of the 3:
1)- You SIM card is getting old & must be replaced or exchanged.
2)- The HD is not un0locked but you bought it as unlock( check wisely )
3)- the device is defected in-terms of the SIM Card holder Chip.

I have an HTC Desire (original not HD) and it had a hardware problem on the main board that caused continuous crash and reboot so that it had to be replaced. I found out that about one quarter of all HTC Desires had this problem. Is any one experiencing this or another significant problem with the HTC Desire HD?

Galaxsy has S-AMOLED while Desire HD has LCD.
but HD's screen also good & you will have problems.
Other than that, the Desire HD is much better.

[deleted post]That seems to be a worry. Never encountered such an issue with my phone. You better go back to where you bought it and ask for a refund or so.
So far, I have no problem with my phone. It's not perfect (as no such a perfect phone)but it's working for me.
Do read my previous posting about this phone and you will have a better understanding.

I got you information about SD card:
(The included SD card from Samsung is 8 GB and has a performance rating of Class 2, despite this we measure the read speed of about 14 MB / s and a write speed of 5MB / s, which far exceeds what Class 2 guarantees. This means that it is relatively quick to get music and serial sections to and from your phone)

As I read somewhere, Motorola will announce a dual core CPU phone probably soon. LG has too a dual core CPU phone. I really hope that HTC will announce soon a dual core CPU phone. :)

BTW, how is t... moreHey, I Have gone with using the 8GB class 4 that came with it and see if I notice anything from when I used my Class 2 16GB in my HD2.
The screen looks lovely, nothing to moan about, put it that way..
So far sound is not as bad as I was thinking it was from what others have said, well thats compared to my HD2 which was never great, its not like a N95 but then I didt think it would be, I will get back to you tho with more info as soon as I have had time to test it out
