I have one of these and saw that the 768MB RAM informed on site, is not the same on the cell, it´s 623MB.

Why HTC Desire HD doesn't have a secondary camera?
Just for this reason i not gonna to buy this phone and gonna wait when in market comes with secondary camera. If not, i gonna buy Nokia N8 or E7.

0v0, 25 Nov 2010i mean interms of: 1)- S-LCD 2)- Sound Quality But not these are the most important things on a smart phone in my opinion. In my view point the CPU, Ram and the OS are the most important. The sound quality of this phone is that bad?? I ask you because I don't know this 4 sure.

0v0, 25 Nov 2010I think Desire Z is better .Why do you think this? If we talk about the screen, this has a bigger one. If we talk about Ram, this has more Ram. If we talk about CPU, this one has more CPU. The Desire Z is better in terms of QWERTY.

Had the phone for over a month now...sound quality from the speaker is rubbish...my 5800 was better. Battery life is not great for a heavy user, unless you carry your charger with you. The volume buttons are placed on the wrong side of the handset..because of the size of the phone you end up pressing the volume keys at the same time as the power key when u want to switch off screen.
But the UI is VERY VERY fast, as are games. the deep facebook intergration with everything is top class. You get used to the size of the screen and it's great! I don't regret getting this phone even if battery and sound are crap...will never go back to Symbian!

regarding the sound quality, is it really that bad!!!!
i mean when you receive a call you cant hear it clearly???
and how about listening to a music by head-phone, is it also bad??

I thing, most likely, that these 1ghz processors will be only more and more powerful.. no need for 1.5 or dualcore. 12 mp cam could be, but I thing that their brain will come from ass to head and make 8mp cam a truly 8mp cam.. not just crazy increasing megapixels.. and that will also be more affordable weather you put 1.5ghz, 4.5" xvgasamoled bla bla screen and 12 mp cam! Thruly, no need. This phone is all ready faster then my Hp Pavilion Dv9000. Sad but True..
