I hate HTC all their phones are prone to issues & this phone is simply massive too ugly

i love this phone! i have mine for 2 weeks and its really a good phone. i just buy extra battery so i dont mind if it just last for 1 day.

bitchin phone. Used to have the iPhone, this phone has so much more flexibility and I love the size of the screen. The "hot spot" application/ability is amazing. It turns your phone into a wireless router (using it right now).
Theres so much good stuff I'll just list the few bad points:
Plastic backing, and parts you remove to access the sim, sd and battery are a bit suspect/bad quality.
battery isnt amazing but it lasts the day (mind you I've just got it so I'm using it a lot)
Couln't care less about the secondary camera
Annoying that google navigation isn't supported in my area

Hey Canada,
there is strong indication that this phone will coming to Canada under TELUS in the New Years or early 2011 (its from the people when they register their Desire Z in HTC Sense site)...
why not Rogers / Fido /some other provider...?? Telus already has regular desire...

Im still looking over this phone, wondering if to change from my HD2....
I still not sure about the battery as im hearing so many diff things. was talking to the guy in the phone shop who has this himself and he was telling me that he has to charge it half way thro the day at work or it would be dead, that sounds pretty bad to me.
I wish GSM wold release this review, Dont understand whats taking so long as norm they review phones before they come out and this phone has been out for a while now. theres reviews for all the others and even phones that have not even hit the shelvs yet but not this!!!

It seems to me this phone is basically the same as hd7. Why not make life easier and produce generic handsets that give you a chance to choose the o/s, be it android or windows etc, upon first boot? I have read htc produce all their high spec shoes theoretically capable of running most operating systems. Ok the limitations of each system software may cause issues but surely in time this could be the way to go.

Just got this phone in store today. Been playing with the demo. It's quite a beautiful phone. Feels HUGE compared to any other HTC or phone for that matter. Bridges the gap between tablets and mobiles perfectly. Im impressed.

just got it!
so far, i think its pretty good. battery is pretty bad but not as bad as people are saying. and apparently i heard it gets better..
i was downloading 8 apps, and transferring over bluetooth and it was working flawlessly. it did freeze and the screen started flickering tho wen i took out the microSD :S but a reset fixed that issue.
camera is pretty decent for a phone camera. upgraded from an x10 so not much difference. the built in effects are pretty good however, the decrease the quality of the pictures.
tried the sense thing. didnt work for me and it was quite laggy. theres a lot of potential in it, but it definately needs improving. my msgs were saved on the sense but for some reason i cudnt lock it.
screen is awesome. dont need the pixels the amoled to satisfy me. the 4.3" screen of the desire hd is more than enough.
the interface is fairly easy. still in the transition period so cant say much. just updated my contacts adn sent a couple of messages out thats all so far.
pros: awesome phone in general with everything u cud want
cons: battery cover is pretty hard to pull off so i will try to minimize the amount of times i have to remove the battery.
