good job for fixing the screen to S-LCD gsmarena.
now add DLNA and WiFi router to the WLAN feature and .avi and .xvid video formats.
this looks like the most complete phone to date.
anyone complaining abt the battery, the HD2 had the same size battery with a TFT screen and lasted a day or 2 easily. even gsmarena were surprised at how long the battery lasted. this phone has an SLCD screen which consumes way less battery than TFT and a 45nm processor which also consumes very little battery. let me give u guys an example. i own the x10 now and love it. but it has a significantly larger battery than hd2 and a smaller screen and still it doesnt last as long. also i miss tje glass screen, metal and hard rubber on hd2. it had the best build quality on any phone ive ever owned. the x10 is all plastic and creaks all over.

Well it turns out that S-LCD uses more battery power than Amoled displays. Check out this site: http://www.engadget.com/2010/09/13/spot-the-difference-htc-desires-slcd-versus-amoled/

Read the specifications on the actual HTC website. The screen is an S-LCD yes. I've spoken to an HTC representative who has handled the phone himself. Here's the link... I can't wait for this one's launch in South Africa in October :D

Frankie, 20 Sep 2010Very small memory for such a big phone and battery life too... moreIf you don't have any sur information don't talk about it

for the internal memory it's not a problem
you can use an external memory

and the CPU have a lower battery consumption so It don't need a biggger battery

the specs are awesome, Iphone sucks

What is so special about this phone? I mean is it not better to get just a standard desire that is same or maybe even better (amoled screen)? 4+" screen is just to big isnt it? Do not burn me on the cross...

the reason the battery is not bigger cos its already heavy and have new screen and cpu that take less power

Frankie, 20 Sep 2010Very small memory for such a big phone and battery life too... moreHi there! This phone uses the new generation snapdragon processor. It significantly consumes very less power, moreover the phone itself is running froyo 2.2 on board with revamped touch UI. In fact, this device has better battery back up compared to the previous generation Desire. Personally, I believe that if they had used a 1500mAh, the result will be mind blowing! Also for the iphone 4, I am an iphone 4 user and have just claimed my refund! Lets see if apple does something for the next year release. I have swapped 5 phones so far and got fed up!
