My volume key is not working.. can i still root my DHD??? to get into boot menu we need to press vol down and power button.. but since the vol is not working i am afraid that i wont be able to enter the boot menu..

try the jellytime rom if u want an android 4.1.2 jellybean rom which works perfectly and is fast on the desire hd

Best phone ever made,old 2 year but still ROCK in this phone u can play need for speed most wanted ,some new phone cant play this game.I very sorry for lose mu Desire HD if i found new one i will buy.

desire hd is a good smart phone but cant upgrade to ics and other os.

The best handset with excellent features but the battery is horrible.It drains so fast.Also camera with flash makes the phone restart.

A story for you all. I had a iPhone 3GS, which developed a HomeKey fault, I called my friends at Apple and they told me 165 great british pounds please! To which I said, goodbye sir. I bought out of my conrtact for £35 and Signed up a new one for teh HTC Desire HD, had it for 2 years without a single problem and finished that contract. Got a new one with a Samsung galaxy Ace. Which I then sold to pay for the Desire HD to be unlocked and I have continued using it for almost another year without a single issue, I will say the BEST phone I've ever owned.

what about its battery timing? i am very crazy to buy it but only thing which is stopping me is the battery timing.. i used wildfire S and its battery lasts for 2,3 hours only on 3G. i am a normal user of 3G means dont use 3G all the time, what if i use 3G for say 2 hours/day, would its battery stay live for a whole day then with say 1-2 hours/day talktime and no SMS or gaming?
