buddies, let me know about the battery life . . .
once charged fully, how long does it last with 3g net use, some camera clicks & 3hrs of music ?
does it perform well for 24hr of use?

I was wondering. I've been signed with T-mobile on an unlocked HTC HD and i just signed with AT&T just couple days now and i was wondering how come my DHD isnt running on 3g network, because it shows edge at the top. is it possible that the 3g frequency isnt compatible with my DHD? Or is there a way to switch over to 3g from edge because i know i have 3g data for sure.

Great phone, really happy with it. But since the update to 2.3.3 the gps has stopped working.Anyone know why this would be?

This is just stupid.i have the dhd and it is just great,so I don t understand why people talk nonsense.this is the best phone out there in the 1ghz class procesor.and you can always root it and make it better.you want sense 3.0 just flash virtuos unity rom from xda and you will have the sensation in your hand,overclock the cpu to 1.9 ghz....the build quality is incredible and design wise.and the camera is just excellent.so just buy it and you won t regret it.and battery life is awesome,it lasts me 1 day under heavy usage,for example 130 pictures,2 hours and more of 3g browsing,30min of calls,some videorecording and 30min of gps navigation and still got home with 10% battery.so those who dont actually own these phone,stop talking garbage,i think that you are jealous or something...from me 10+ Htc.

Can anybody explain me, ho to set longer vibration when I receive sms. my DHD vibrate only 2 times and I want to vibrate for a least 4 time..?

Android Revolution HD is a reason enough to buy DHD. This guy is incredible. He chunks out rom updates like every week with major improvements in speed and features. Last one has added 2-way conversation recording support.

I must say I'm very impressed with android/HTC customisation abilities.

it's not that hard if you have some basic knowledge. doublecheck that the rom you are copying on the sd card has been copied correctly. I have manage to miss small part of the file and after full wiping old rom, when start copying new one, it prompted me an error with file so i have let the phone on, pull out sd card, copy the rom file via computer and inserted card again and started installation again.. and it worked just fine.
to root your phone you probably MUST downgrade your phone version to older one (info is in the link). copy your files before doing that or use titanium backup.
Android Revolution HD ROM is the way to go.
