Man! I don't know what happen to the phone radio signal reaction but I just headache when I use this phone. Unlike when I use HTC Desire, nothing trouble to my health. This is not feeling, this physical headache.

Also battery life depends on many things, mine lasts 5 days with light use.
Might wanna try to disable the Autosync and background data for superior batter life!
And shamefully, if skype is unavailabe in your country (like me :S ) just Google for "skype apk" and download the apk file and install it, and make sure to enable "unknown source" to be able to install non-market apps.

FOUND A FIX FOR THE BACK COVER
As my desire s was making squeaking sound on pressing at the battery cover i removed d cover n pressed it again (ie w/o being attached to the phone) that means sound is only coming if it is attached so there must be some contact point which is making this sound n the only loose contact point is the antennae clips in the phone ( not the ones on the cover) so i decided to lift the antennae clips a bit using a piece PLASTIC. Just bend d clips so that they rest slightly above the original position n then put the cover back....voila the sound is gone...did same to my friends desire s his was too noisy, after doing this it became almost as good as mine....njoy:)

how's the sound quality in music in the desire S?
I own the nexus one and it SUCKS in music...
and does the wifi signal drop is a really big issue?

hi every1..im interested on buying hts desire s.. but from the review it has a death grip problem..does anyone experience this?

To all those who did not buy the Desire S yet, I say, DO NOT BUY IT. Reason:
-Battery life is too low no matter what you do, Faulse advertising for long battery life
- most of the apps do not work or incompateble, surely skype is one of them. Again, faulse advertising
-Very poor after sale support.
-I allredy returned 2 sets due to malfunction in 10 days. one had screen problem and the other suddenly would not charge.
HTC had tottaly messed this one up.

I just found a flaw in the HTC Desire S :
The flaw is the very good filming quality in contrast with the weak photo quality witch I think that can be improve with some update in hardware/software interface.
My battery life longs 2 days with text, videos, playing and some web surfing at sleep time ;)

Hi, I got my Desire S a week back ago.
I have noticed one thing that the battery cover design is not exactly good and it does not fit in quiet well. On one side of the phone its seems to be loosen up & also makes squeaking noise when i hold the phone from bottom.
Wonder if other guys have the same problem?
Also one more thing i found out is an tiny black dot in the center of my screen don't know if its a dead pixel or something else.Unforgettably i did not noticed this while buying the device.
Can i get any fix/replacement from HTC?

does nyone know that the desire s has got scratch resistant Gorilla Glass? when i asked the htc by online, they confirms that, it dosent have gorilla glass. but i this gsmarena also says so. anyone has the idea?
