hai all,am using SE for years,am stil loving SE.i like htc too.and am interested in the new desire s and incredable s.hows the camera performance and cam ui in htc,and wat abt battery and durability,pls reply me coz i like this phones.although sony ercsn and htc both give importance to quality.thnx in advance guys....

... moreDesire S doesn't have HDMI, but the SE Neo has.
They have the same set of processor but Desire S has bigger Rom/Ram
Probably, the SE Neo has a better camera.
Build quality...Desire S has the upperhand.
Rooting Neo is easier since SE unlocked the bootloader.
If only the NEO wasn't delayed, I would get it instead of Desire S.
But I have no regrets getting the Desire S.
It's your call which one to get, for both devices are great.

Wi-Fi signal degrades when you cover the top part of the back panel

I bought for Rs.23750 with free movie DVD 'Social network' original box worth Rs.474. Now flipkart selling desire s for R.23265. But this time no free DVD.
The sad thing is still in banglore the leading mobile retailers don have this beauty for sale.

The only colour available is BLACK.
i think it looks slick in black.
i guess the silver colour is available only abroad. Not in India atleast.

[deleted post]i Got Mine on Thursday for 23750.
The Price on flipkart came down to 23325 the next day..
but i dont care.. because its still worth every penny i spent.
I suggest use flipkart if u do not wanna wait. i have ordered phones before from there and they also have a pay on delivery option in case ur full of doubts. :-)

I got mine from a friend, demo piece, no headset. Hows the battery life in your piece now now? my battery life sucks in spite of turning off all possible applications. hardly lasts for 16 hrs with min usage (30 mins of speaking during that period). Also is there any setting for the phonebook? when i open the phone book and try to type in letters, only numbers come up. any way to change it to alphabets?(eg: when i try to tap in "W" to get William's number, it highlights all the numbers in the contacts as all numbers begin with 9!) Any tips to increase battery life? I am scared to use GPRS and Maps due to the poor battery life!
