the battery is not gud at all.. if u remain online the battery might last just for couple of hours... ekse its a great phone.. love the apps.

Hey guys i want to buy htc desire s. What abt the screen? Wht abt the bttry? When it full charged then normal usages (like 30 min call 30min video 20min game n 40min net browsing) what is the battery backup ? Please reply asap. Thanks in advance

Hi Guys!
I've got the update today.T-Mobile UK 5 months old contract phone.Everything looks pretty good and no power button problem...
Also performance feels faster.
If anyone from UK and same carrier then check phone update in the next few days... :)

I recommend all desire s users to download tap tap app by pedro maicas. It is a very good app to save ur ppwer button for waking the phone. All u need to do is to tap beside the htc logo under the earpiece and u may now unlock the phone. Really great application.

I Had Desire S & Desire HD, well i liked the Desire HD with the Big Screen & Slightly Better Camera, but in the end i Wanted a Compact Mobile with Better Battery Life so i kept the Desire S,I Really Like the 2.3.5 Android with HTC Sense 3 nice Improvement from the Previous Android 2.3.3 with Sense 2.1 especially Better Batter Life Management.

After the new update, I have a problem with the power bottom too,
Some time I cannot wake up the phone from the sleep mode using the power bottom
Sometime the phone don’t wake up when a phone call coming
When this problem happen I connect the charger to the phone ,this is only way to make it respond again
