I update to 2.3.5 a week ago. Everything is fine, but the power consumptions gone up. i need to charge it every night now. The best feature is the new task manager which works wonders clearing the memory. Have a go at it, its worth it.

Filnaly, I have just updated to sense 3 with 2.3.5 after a long wait here in Pakistan. It is an excellent update and no problems are feces yet with it, including power button. I was on 1.28.401.1 and updated to 1.47.401.4 last night and this morning I got notification of this latest update. Thanks htc

New update has improved a lots of things. All sensors are working better. For example ambient light sensor is working awesome now. When i use this phone at night it adjusts brightness to very much comfortable levels. Will it get ICS?

HTC Desire s Vs Samsung galaxy I9001 s plu... moreHTC is more beautifull and have htc sense but samsung has more memory,faster CPU,Amoled display,bigger display(if that is good for u),good battery, but u see samsung is so borring ...HTC is more comfortable...if look for performance u must take Samsung,if u look for beauty and comfortable u must take HTC. On Bechmark they look like the same. 1137 points for HTC ant 1158 for Samsung.It's your choise:)

I upadeted to sence 3.0 and android 2.3.5 ! It is awesone and no priblems as mentioned in sone of the comments!

I bought Desire S three days ago and in software information it says that is android version 2.3.5 and in hardware information says that its bluetooth is 3.0. In specifications i found in the internet writes that normal is 2.3 version upgratable to 2.3.5 version and bluetooth is 2.1 version. My question is how this is possible since i didnt make any update in my phone?
