This is the worst phone I have ever had.
HTC phones only looks good but when it comes to durability they are the worst.
I have the same problem which most of the people are facing here which is with display. On/Off button couldn't light up its screen most of the time, all the screen remains functional but you cannot see anything.
I bought it for 22000 bucks and what I got is a piece of shit. I repaired it for 5000 and after 3 months again started facing the same problem. When contacted customer they have a policy of 3 months warranty after each repair.
I even couldn't make 3G working in this phone even after changing the setting by pressing *#*#4636#*#*.
I will never recommend to buy any HTC phone to anyone.

this is worst phone i have bought in my life. always hangs on at time of attending phone of play any apps.gps not working properly. Phone Always hang up when u most require. whatsup crash regularly. i think htc is worst company who give so bad product and ruined our hard earned money.please never buy this company product.

never buy htc desire vc, it has issue in detecting the sim in roaming. I was really pissed off with this mobile. NEVER BUY this one.

The phone didn't live upto the expectation. DO NOT BUY IMPORTED PHONES. The GSM sim stopped working within one month of purchase only CDMA is working. I was told that the motherboard would have to be replaced which was an expensive affair.
The 5MP camera is quite good but not as good as 5MP of Nokia. Internet Speed is not very exciting. Other features are quite ok.

Very poor mobile i had ever purchase in my life... Chinese mobile z much better than this. Tottaly vastage f money. Screen stop workiing 4 times in 6 mnths. N d srvc was also soo poor... U r suggested that never ever purchase any htc product...

V-nayak, 17 May 2014my htc desire vc working slowly what i do sir, pls suggestpLZ make descision fast , either stay with it as it is or sell for whatever price u get....this is a piece of crap....dont ever go to HTC or else you will curse yourself for buying thie product and even more knowing their sugestions and replies...

Garbage - the best definition for this cheap product from HTC. People don’t get fooled by the HTC tag, they have produced a really useless piece of phone.
The phone has display blank problem twice in 6 months, irony is that when I went for complaint, the smart customer care lady suggested that the phone should not be kept in pant pocket. :) how clever is that - plz HTC mention in bold that STOP wearing T-shirts after you buy HTC products – AND ONLY WEAR HTC UNIFORMES AS SUGGESTIONS “
Further She said that the display is very delicate so use protective cover - again hilarious suggestion - HTC Please put a note of "FRAGILE" handle with utmost care - and keep in showcase unless emergency calling :)
When complained about applications and games not working properly – HTC engineers only have to say – we cannot guarantee on 3rd party software’s – HTC Plz design your own software’s and make them proprietary - plz don’t design the product for OPEN markets like android unless your stupid technical staff understands how to respond to a technical query…
THE BOTTOM LINE I WANT TO TELL YOU ALL IS – “ STAY AWAY FROM ANY HTC PRODUCTS UNLESS YOU HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO WASTE UPON “

I am using Desire vc. One bad day it asked for update for new version. So i did the update. lateron it hanged & it doesnt turn on(only "HTC" name display comes on screen.) As suggested by Call Center i did hard reset. But no use. Went to HTC service center they told Mother board is faulty.. Need to Pay 8000 rupees. It is out of warranty. Kindly suggest friends..
