Hello guys, my Desire X is acting very strange, the screen suddently changed the colors and went on and off for 3 seconds, and after that everything was ok. I decided to turn it off and I did, but now I can't turn it on ... I tried a factory reset. i.e. remove and replace the battery, hold down the volume button and then press the power button, but didn't work.
Still when I plug it in my computer, the led turns on but I can't access the phone using the computer since it doesn't turn on.
I don't think the power button is broken because it was working just fine before this. Does anybody know what's the solution for my problem here? Thanx!

hi friends,
Can anyony tell me that is this phone able to phone .avi,mp4 files.
AS i heard that you have to use a third party app for such videos,but still some people complain that vidoes does not run smooth,means they run slow or there is no sync in sound and picture.
Is it really like this..????
Your opinion will be a lot helpful.

The best phone ever. It is so fast, really good quality, performance and design. Is is better then S2, Sensation, Evo 3d, S3 mini etc. Battery life is very god, but my point is that performance and graphic is better than all other phones in this price range. I love this phone and it is so cool and fun. Girls love to see phones like this so buy and put it on place where they can see it. :)

Please suggest me whether to unlock bootloader or to install rom or super user? does it harmful to the device? and is there any chance that we can change the font as we change in samsung? pls help me.

really a nice phone...
all HD games,live wallpapers etc works...and really feels nice holding it.
if u r planning 2 buy a phone under 20k then, no doubt go for htc desire X.

And I just got it 2 days back.

Can someone help me delete the bluetooth received files? Actual files were already deleted but they are still showing under received files.

I am going to share my experience, I hope it will be found helpful for those who want to purchase this hand set.
Phone looks beautiful and is very handy, ICS is awesome, no lag as i have been observed in Samsung Galaxy S. Touch is outstanding really, it feels like silk. Unfortunately only 1GB storage is available for use. CPU, GPU and RAM is enough for games and surfing, Only one thing that's not impressive is it's battery, Although it's good but not so impressive. I think it's due to SLCD, as it consumes more power than AMOLED.

Desire X is a really nice phone, although it has some drawbacks.Firstly camera and video recording is below par.secondly the sense software used in this phone has some restrictions e.g. it doesn't has any option from where you can select live wallpapers however it do support live wallpapers. I use apex launcher in my phone which have solved the software issue as it have lots of options to customize.The things i like about this phone that it doesn't lag in day to day operations and the built quality of this phone is awesome. Although Ram is less than GB but it is sufficient as i have played games like temple run and agent dash without any issue.Battery in desire x is decent and it easily outlast my htc one x.

This phone is very slim and good handling but just two things : Does support this phone any live wallpaper?
and another thing it hasn't any animation feature for weather sense (after unlocking phone)like old sense !!

I just bought desire x and for some reason it wont charge upto a 100%. It stops at 93%.
Can anyone please give any suggestion.
Its urgent as I just got the phone.

my thought about the htc Desire x is that is awesome, great phone. the camera, 5MP, I think is good. I wana tell all those who speaks ill about this phone that, they should not forget that it is a device, a machine and as we all know that the efficiency of a machine can never be 100 percent. thats why manufacturers have different versions for the device. if you want a device with 100% efficiency, then I have an advice for you. go make yourself one or get a device that suite your interest. why do you go for it after knowing the specs and all what it can do? I am never gonna change my mind I'm going for desire x. if I'm using it and wana go higher, I'll sell it out and get a new one. but won't nag.
