guys ,, this phone os is 4.0.4 or just 4.0 ? im looking for a 4.0.4 ics android phone from htc brand .. dont suggest any other brand, if this phone is already 4.0.4 then i will go with it ,, second ,, does this phone cause lag ? am not a heavy phone user ,, just for normal use such as messaging n calling ,, hope u guys will give a good feedback

Yes, its a 70% sure to be available in Jelly Bean as personnel from HTC has confirmed it when I bought this phone. I got it for P14,800 but you can have it as low as P14,000 (manufactured in China). I then chose the one manufactured in Taiwan.
As for the phone, no problem at all except for battery. It could have been better. With usage of internet, games and wifi, you have to recharge it again.
As for no front cam, quite disappointing but main cam is superb! Even in dark areas. The only problem will be with the eyes but nonetheless, a great quality.
As for video recording, it can shoot videos but who cares about the hd recording? Phones aren't supposed to be for video recording. As long as it has a great quality for pictures, then its okay.
MUCH MUCH BETTER than HTC One V. My mindset was to buy that phone but the HTC personnel said that it lags very much and experienced black out problems (shuts off and needed to be repaired)
Go for HTC Desire X. :)

today i update the software (4.0 to 4.0.4) in my desire x..but i think my phone is respond slow and notify unexpected remove sd card ....so i wanna previous software version ie.4.0 so how to reinstall my previous software version on my desire x???? plz reply soon if anybody know

AnonD-95202, 31 Dec 2012download MxPlayer and watch any 720 and 1080pno way.. u cant.. i tried 720 p videos in mx player. The video is ok, playing without any lags but sound is disturbed and not playing very well.. some times it is out of sync.. hope an update will resolve this issue..

Checking the specs for This phone, it seems to be the only 'Desire' that qualifies for jellybean as it has above the minimum requirements for it. Although aside from the ram, do we know what other requirements are needed ?

As u must hav seen there was a list leaked from htc regarding jelly bean updates n DX wasent there but yeah it has the hardware required..

Why would u go for this when samsung galaxy sadvance is avalible with much higher specs specially with the super amoled display...???

It's a value 4 money phone. Good speed for downloading, installing and commands. Camera is ok, but could be better. A big minus for the battery - if it is hardly use (games, music, wi-fi), may need recharging in less then 1 day.
As a conclusion, it is a preety damn good phone for about 200 Euros.
