only 2 negatives, 1 and the biggest drawback is anything over 480P is not supported.
and 2nd (not so imp for me) lack of front camera.
otherwise its a nice phone with good looks. But i seriously wanted 720P playback, highly disappointed

HTC has better build quality and better looks though, but not doing justice to its hardware

@Sam9teen did you try Xperia J, well that is one piece of shit, Desire X is flying compared to Xperia J.
and if you want to watch 720p buy high class phone.
for me Desire X is excellent phone for price range

san, 29 Dec 2012What stopping me for buying this phone is that is not able ... moreno way, anythng over 480P hangs even in MX player. Sound will be smooth but video just slows down. Very disappointed that i bought Desire X, should have gone for LG L9 or Xperia J..... High on specs but poor on performance..

The phone is extremely beautiful but extremely bad build.
The buttons sucks, u have to press them very hard because they are made of rubber, the buttons are very bad positioning, the sound in the earpiece is not clear and lower then my old wildfire s , also it has a fabrication defect: a hiss noise everytime , in conversations and music player.

Also it does not have a compass, if u try to play a game it heates extremely.
I`m extremely dissapointed with this HTC ,extremely satistied with my old wildfire s, wich is muuuch better build.

Its Awesome Phone i get it in half Price brand new.and I love this handset.before buying i was not sure but my friend said talk it its really Great and it is...So i dont think its bad.... :)

The only part of the Desire X - make me decided not to buy it - is a black glossy plate surrounding the camera lens and the LED flash. While we are okay with an accent around the camera, this one is clearly too much to. So I have decided for One S.

What stopping me for buying this phone is that is not able to play 720 p videos....otherwisr I would have gone for this without a 2nd thought......so guys can anybody who are using this phone ..say that whether it is playing smoothly 720 p videos using MX Player.......plzzzz do this test and give me the result guys...plzzzzzz...I beg u for this reply .

AnonD-15159, 27 Dec 2012what sort of glass is on the screen ?I don't think it's anything like gorilla glass. Just standard materials so I would strongly recommend something like a 'Martin Fields' screen overlay.

General usage such as music playing and web browsing will get you a whole day of moderate usage. Playing alot of games will drain the battery alot more and expect to have to recharge during the day if you are a heavy gamer !
