bebe, 09 Dec 2012i bought htc at before 2 moths it is very gd phone but i ha... more@ bebe, the control at the side of the phone for ringer volume, do not reduce it to the last (this is where it goes on vibration), but if you reduce it by one less, then the ringer volume goes on silent and not vibration.

bebe, 09 Dec 2012i bought htc at before 2 moths it is very gd phone but i ha... morewhen you lower the audio on the phone with the button on the side to make it silent. DONT let it go all the way down so you get the vibrating phone icon... just until the sound icon (tone-icon) is crossed over....
if you went down all the way to the vibrating-phone-icon just go one click up with the sound button on the side and you're there.... dont know if that made any sence to you??

cool phone for its camera,size of display,keyboard and its colour . Its a nice phone and if any body wants to take this phone they could absolutely take it and its price is also perfect for this phone ..thanks

Been using this device for about 1.5 years now. Device randomly freezes in sleep mode but a battery pull and restart usually fixes it. Too many apps running will cause device to slow down but still functional after a few moments wait. Device is sturdy, well built. I have dropped this device a few times on sharp stones (accidental of course) and never made a scratch on the screen.

my htc is perfectly okay, but the little is that my connnection is eating up my cash. i dont know what i configure on it, when ever i load credit on my phone under certain seconds everything will wipe off. why?

how do you do the browsing settings, because i have tried it using airtel nigeria network it browsed for some hours then stopped and have not been able to connect since. pls help me out

I have bought this phone 2 days ago...its all good...but if i m not using the phone for more than 3 hours its switching off suddenly...the battery is completely charged...i have to remove the battery and place it back again to start it...can some1 help me plzz

Desire Z is a great phone, especially on Video and speed on the internet.. though few seconds slow when minimzing the program to reselect another.. all the same very cool device..

My HS was hang at the time of using & I have tried to restart the handset but unable, so I have open my HS battery & after replacing the battery try to restart the HS. After the consequence my HS is completely dead, even though I have tried to charging the battery but no response found.
Please help me out of this situation if any body faced same problem previously or I need expert opinion for over come the status.

I guess ICS 4.0.4 is ok for me, as long as there is no HTC Sense and other HTC bloatware to slow it down and make it hang it should perform OK.
You are right about the battery, this one also is 2 years old and the battery is surprisingly good for its age.

Great phone, shame no one else is releasing something new with a hardware keyboard.

P.O.S. (piece of shit!) - loses pictures and video clips, presents random screens while typing text and email, avoid if at all possible.

My daughter is upgrading to Note II and i thought i root her old Desire Z. Any news about custom ROM with Jellybean for this one?
