I have rooted my device within 10 from purchase yet no problem. Now my Htc explorer running on ICS with 2gb internal memory (SD card ext Configured as internal).
Still It Rocks....

you wont be able to install much apps those need to reside on phone memory eg: facebook, Maps, Go Launcher/Locker.
It is other wise a good phone but i wont recommend to buy this phone. I have this phone for about a year now.
Xperia Tipo is a better option if u looking for a phone this price range.

when i select wdcma only mode or wdcma/gsm auto mode my signal strength is really low unlike in gsm only mode the signal strength is really high. is it a common prob or just me...??
