im using this mob for the past 1 yr. its a good phone with all the basic features, at a reasonable price. bit now im facing a problem. my internal memory shows that 15mb is free, but if download anything from the play store or trying to update a installed app, it gives a error message as insufficient storage. and ive made a software update recently. what can b done. pls help me.???

i have heard that htc explorer has a low processor speed. how does it affect its functioning ? is it preferable to buy this mobile ?

AnonD-14481, 07 Oct 2012Buddy, 3g pack is active, and sometimes I get 3g signal on ... moreRigqt now ur phone is on auto (wcdma/gsm) mode,that's why ur phone is switching between both network and that's the problem.there is an option to select only wcdma(3g) or gsm only.go to all apps>settings>wireless and network>mobile network>network mode....there u will found three option...wcdma only(for 3g), gsm only(for 2g) and wcdma/gsm auto for both.nw u've to select wcdma only and enjoy 3g flawlessly.if u want 2 surf net over 2g then select gsm only and m sure that u'll get descent data speed.

I tried with both airtel and idea but non worked. I feel other mobiles have option to switch on 3g but in this is having auto mode which means we may get any signal. 2g is very slow, getting below 8-9 kpbs, and manytimes even low.
We are still in stone age when data speeds are concerned. In Western countries, they get mbps.

Rudra, 06 Oct 2012How can I update it 2 Android 4.0...?Root it. There's CM9.1 available for HTC explorer. Made by Sakindia123 on XDA devs. There's jellybean too but you need to wait until that rom is stable. CM9.1 is stable now and very smooth. Everything works perfectly

Ironically, I see many times 3g signal on my phone when I least expect it.
Please some advice?
recently I downloaded HERO OF SPARTA HD game. great graphics, many monsters to fight. great game from gameloft. its a 97 mb game.
