AnonD-131979, 03 Apr 2013Does rooting htc explorer causes any problems like overheat... moreI have rooted my htc explorer 8 months back, those who don't know what rooting is, search on google about it. Rooting is simply analogous to creating an administrator in windows, Creating 'administrator' will not cause overclocking, heating or hanging of PC rite,same way rooting wont cause any, its just installing a superuser SU on system ROM,this might help http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1415223
Also if u play with drivers,bootfiles,BIOS settings, install new OS improperly, it can cause "temporary" failure in PC rite, same way installing ROMs,patches, kernels etc may cause problems like bricking, bootloops etc. (of course if u do properly nothing bad will happen)

Ok wat u said is correct, messageCS is the app that causes internal memory to increase and guess wat, its a sysem app and its data cannot be deleted,for that phone has to be rooted in the first place ( I have tried this method also,also not only messageCS, all apps cache gets dumped to internal memory causing it to decrease day by day ) Its a stupid method to force app2sd, Just root and install Link2sd and forget about "LOW INTERNAL MEMORY" htc wont raid ur home or freeze ur bank account if u root ur phone

You are wrong fifa dude I have played max payne,bladeslinger,realfootball,asphalt 7Heat,amazing spiderman and many games I'll be installing HTC explorer is the bestest hvga samrtphone !!

Shocking memory. Spend a little more and get something decent. This holds 11 apps on the SD card and nothing on its internal memory. Worst phone I've ever had, genuinely. I love htc in general but I don't understand why they would let this joke of a phone loose into the shops.
I wouldn't even keep my htc explorer as a spare phone. Won't run facebook if you have more than a few friends, any apps that can't be put on the SD card can't be downloaded, and the phone develops glitches and problems quicker than any of my old bricks used to.
I wish I'd checked the memory before I bought it, but I assumed that I wouldn't need to be too thorough with a "smart" phone that runs android. So, so disappointing.
Sorry guys, it's a no from me.

hi friend,
first of all thanks to htc to make this wonderful smartphone. pls don't waste your money in local brands like karbonn,micromax,lava,cherry flair etc. i have used karbonn a11 and micromax funbook and sold it within one month of purchase, Because of poor battery backup and poor user interface.and after a big loss of money i purchase htc explorer and truly say that this is a genuine smartphone. so friend go for good brands and save your money and time.

After i install fifa 12(apk version 1.3.98 offline), htc explorer shows a black screen with waiting icon. I have also the sd card files, but why its happening?

AnonD-99859, 31 Mar 2013Run Java (.jar) apps on Android using Jbed (100% working)- ... moreFor all those who tried to "force app 2 move to sd without rooting" , this method may seem gud,but after 2 or 3 weeks, internal memory automatically fills up due to files added to internal memory from apps already installed. All u can do then is uninstall the apps. I have tried thath method in vain, at last rooted and installed Link2sd, now no internal memory problem(except during booting)
