Nik, 18 Jan 2011I will work on it n let u knw for sure.... Cause its takin... moreAPN shows blank in Android because there is nothing there you have to make one. Its not like WM that auto set it up for you.
When you get into the APNs you will see nothing till you add a new one.
Tap the “windows” key a.k.a. menu in android. Then tap “New APN
In there you will see
Name
APN
Proxy
Port
Username
Password
Server
MMSC
MMS proxy
MMS protocol
MCC
MNC
Authentication type
APN type

But none of it is set up. You have to put in the information.
I got my information from the WM OS the area I told you but it’s a lot to remember that is why I said get paper and pen.

    I also have some questions for you so I will know how much help I need to give?
    1. What OS do you have on your PC?
    2. Have you ever done an Official ROM update to your HD2 before.
    3. Have you ever put a cooked ROM on your phone before?
    4. Have you ever use ActiveSync or WMDC before?

    Note: in my post I gave my ROM #s. you are going to use your ROM #s which are 3.14.707.3 and 1.66.707.1 not the ones I used.

      Cause its taking time for me to get Intrner on Android. I cudt do it, tried manual settings, but when trying to entr details APN shws blank n i cudt enter anythng thr.
      Called my provider n tried.Thy had questions like this.
      First question was Htc hd2???? was it??
      second question was Android????wats tht nw :-)
      Undrstud thy dn even knw this n i hung up.

                Having to look at your “vxAN” tag to know which “Anonymous” I’m talking to could get annoying. Its like look at a tag on sheep to know which one you are.

                  What is the ROM version on your phone now?
                  i need to know that to give you the list of things you need to have.

                      well basically after u suggested if i want android only i need to do it the nand way, therefore i need the HSPL before i do anything..

                        And all you have to do is put some settings in your phone on the WM OS side to make a Microsoft Exchange account.
                        I’m thanking you for this because i only ran into this because i was trying to help you. :-)

                        1. open ActiveSync on the phone. (“Windows” key>tools>ActiveSync)
                        2. go to.. menu>Add Server Source…
                        3. put your google email address in the address field.
                        4. uncheck the “Attempt to detect….” Box
                        5. tap next
                        6. put m.google.com as the server address
                        7. leave ….encryptied….. on
                        8. tap next.
                        9. put your google email address as the user name and put in your account password
                        10. tap next
                        11. check all that you want to sync with your google account. (don’t sync task. I read that gives problems)
                        12. tap on “settings…” to edit the rules. Then tap “ok” when done.
                        13. tap on finish

                        At this time you should see it start to sync with the Microsoft exchange server.
                        When it is done boot into android and the google account will sync the info to your phone in Android for you.
                        Let me know how it goes.
                        I tried it and it worked for me. :-)

I just returned home from work n logged in this forum via my hd2 n saw ur response. Already found the correct site with new Rom update which supports my country location. I will download it tomorrow n install the dual Android 4.6 version following ur earlier instructions. Will get back to u for further support in case that I could not get thing done as expected.

                            Anonymous, 17 Jan 2011hey guys, anyone know where i could download hardspl hd2?You did not say what you wanted the HSPL for but the link is below.
                            And seeing that I don’t know what you want it for, there are just 3 basic things I want you to know.
                            1. HSPL dose not work on a HD2 that already has an original 3.14.xxx.x ROM & SPL on it.
                            2. HSPL voids you warranty
                            3. The only way to undo a HSPL is to have a downloaded copy of your original ROM on your PC to modify to do a SD card flash of your phone.

                                I tried the same in Android n it didt work, was waiting for response frm HD2 n was waiting for ever, wen i tried once i got a pop up at the top of Android home screen saying Authentication required or somethng n it went away. i cudt do nythng. So u juz tried to send an image frm nothr fone to Android n still the sa

                                  When on the HTC site, pick Asia Pacific as your country from the top right corner and you will find your 3.14.707.3 ROM update that is made for your HD2 SN
