Recently my daughter, who is in UK, has gifted me HTC HD 2 Hand set. I wish to use the same in India.I had requested for internet connection to my service provider, however I have been informed that my hand set is not provisionable. The hand set was doing all the functions in UK and was having GPRS/Internet service of VODAFONE. I will be thankful if any expert guides me about changes/alterations need to use the hand set in India

You must finish the installation and setup, or your next boot will take just as long.
When the installation and setup is done, booting into Android will not take longer than 2min.

and that fist file you have to click looks like it is doing nothing but you have to click it anyway before you run the next one. so far so good.
to be safe resart your phone. and do it again. and dont worry if the first file looks like it is doing nothing.

It will always start in Windows Mobile every time you power on the phone and then you have to run the same 2 files from the installation and that will start Android. And when you are in android and you restart the phone it will start in WM again.
But when you have gotten the Android working I will tell you about a program to install in WM
That will give you a screen which will…
                    1. Give you the option to pick your OS in the power up sequence.
                    2. Give you the option to set the OS you want as the default boot after a countdown time.
                    3. Give you a "1 click" quick link to start Android when in WM.

                      Files are getting downloaded!
                      Meanwhile have questions for u..

                      1)What exactly dual boot works?
Like after installing the froyo stuff, do we get a Option in start menu to switch between OS or else hw does it work actually?

                      2) Like to get the details for RT, Curious too :)
                      Waiting for ur mail.

Sense UI may be becoming unstable because it is looking for a clock which you don’t have.

And you only installed the dinik clock and not the 3 others I talked about.
Try reinstalling cookie. That may fix your problem.
Just install cookie again and it will uninstall the one you have now. (its funny like that)
Then install cookie again. To put the cookie back on. After that you may have to reinstall the CHTEditor.
Try that before you factory reset.
Also still to a check on your internal storage free space.
Next thing you should know when you uninstall a MOD it does not always undo the change.
So undo the change be for you uninstall. Eg you install a clock which replaced the original clock. If you uninstall that clock, you will have no clock till you install a replacement.

                                        1. On your SD card.
Advantage: you get to pick if you want to run Android or windows mobile.
Disadvantage: it is running of the SD so you can get some lag at times. And it thinks your SD is internal ROM so you don’t get SD card options in Android.

                                        2. NAND.
Advantage: runs from ROM. Faster than SD version. See both SD and internal storage.
Disadvantage: you will no longer have Windows Mobile on your phone. It voids your warranty

Note: both NAND and SD version can be undone for warranty reasons, once the phone is not critically damaged and you can still get into the boot loader.

                                        Requirements to install are….
1 HD2. The ability to read and comprehend what you read. A PC with internet access.
The rest of requirements depend on your ROM version & which version of Android you want to install.

It’s easy if you are not one of the people that think “the iPhone is the best phone ever made.” LOL
And you are not the type to install first read after or not at all.
