This is the link to get your official 3.14.707.3 update
Do not install HSPL. As far as I know, the new newest HSPL is HSPL3 and is based on a 2.08 SPL
But the new 3.14 ROM has a 3.04 SPL and so far every one that I have tried to help put on the 3.14 ROM using the HSPL have reported major lost of ROM space or fail to complete the installation.
If you have already installed HSPL, do not install the 3.14 ROM

OS VERSION 5.2.21869(21869.5... moreSorry to interrupt but I couldnt help notice that your ROM comes from South East Asia, which originaly came with my HD2 as well,It is one of the worst ROMs I have ever had, should say that it freezes a lot, however after using many of them both stock and Custom ROMs including the latest stock 3.14, I have discovered that the best one,at least for me, is the Middle east ROM 1.66.415.9 WWE,)no Arabic included)very stable and fast I also kept its original radio 2.10 xxx is very good as well.
To try it you must have HSPL on your HD2.

Despite my advanced age this Android thing have started to grow on me!!.I played couple of hours withit, yesterday I have been using it for the whole day,I could say that its goood, very good, its sort of a hybrid of WM/IOS,the settings are as plenty as the WM ,the finger friendliness and abundance of applications same as Iphone. Now if it only had a Chess application as good as the former I would have been sold to it.Excuse me I have to go back now to my WM to watch a live game of chess!!.

Am a user of HTC, I had used HTC Hero, its working pretty good more then one year but its still working well just slow down the speed a bit only.

Recently I bought one more HTC HD2, its very bad, I used for 2weeks, its always restart, so I bring to Service Centre in Cambodia, take about one and half month to repaired and after repair now I took back from service Centre the sleep mood button not working well, mean that they are not concentrate on they work.

I don’t understand what you are asking.

1.66 is stable but there are newer ROMs that are more energy efficient and some have miner interface updates. But I can’t say if there is such an update for your HD2 because you only gave the first part of your ROMs . # (the version). I need the next part of the # (your region or provider)

Marwa, 18 Nov 2010wow , at last i understand what ROMs are =) thank you very ... moreBecause you technically replace the ROMs that was there before when you do a ROMs update, you only need to get the newest one.
If you want to do an official ROMs update, you just have to go to the HTC web site.
And from the country menu pick the country that your HD2 was made for (all of us did not buy a HD2 that was made for where we live, and it is possible for windows phones to have the same ROMs version put different region/provider settings, drivers, programs ) then go to the support tab and pick the HD2 from the list. Then look for the newest ROM that match your HD2 (may be a service provider ROMs, or a Generic HTC ROM like my phone)
To get the ROMs to download you will have to put in your S/N. once it is the correct one, the site will let you download it to your PC.
If you don’t know what country your HD2 was made for. Doing a google search for the full ROM number that is on your phone now could tell you what country or provider it is.

Instruction to update the ROM is on the same page with the download.
