Capacitive screens need a small electrical charge (as a living person you generate) to work. So forget using your pen or a old stylus on this, its not going to do anything.
There is a HTC capacitive stylus for sale, if you still think you can’t live with out a stylus on this huge screen or if you have a Prosthetic hand.
Its called the
HTC HD2 ST C400 Capacitive Stylus

i want to try Android,could u tell me how or wu... moreThere isn’t much I call tell you about installing Android on the HD2.
Because it is something I am new to as well.
I think your radio version is important, that is why some people tell you to install HSPL but I’m running 3.14 ROM and it has a 2.12.50.14 radio. So I didn’t use HSPL to change anything.
The amount of free space and class of your SD card is also important, because Android will be using it as if it was its ROM space. So I think it would be a waist of time to try this if you are still using the default 2GB SD.
Below is the link to the Android I’m using.
All I downloaded wad what was under “Download v.3.7:”
And I followed the instructions that are under “Instruction:”
If you have attempted to install Android before it is recommended that you format the SD to get rid of any hidden files from the old installation. You can always put back on your files after the format.
Every time you have to start Android you will have to click the two files from the instructions, unless you install the auto boot program in windows.

batljaga, 22 Nov 2010no i didn't. i made a new home network beacause a few days ... moreOk. your phone saved the settings for the old home network and is still trying to use it.
Fix…
1. go to… Settings>menu>All Settings>Connections>Wi-Fi>wireless Networks
2.pick the old saved network, if it opens, click cancel (you just want it high lighted)
3. tap on.. Menu>Remove settings
Now when you go to connect to the network, It will ask for the pass key and setup with the new network settings.

Anthony, 21 Nov 2010did you change any settings on your Rougher ?no i didn't. i made a new home network beacause a few days ago i couldnt connect to a wireless routter using my laptop but i could by using phone. now i can connect with laptop but not with the phone.

If you are going to install Android it works on 3.14 without installing HSPL. That is how my phone is now.
I know of no one that installed HSPL on a phone that had an official 3.14 ROM
The problems I know about are people that install HSPL so they can install 3.14. They have reported a massive loss in ROM free space and had to take the ROM off to get the space back. That could be because 3.14 has a new 3.04SPL and the newest HSPL is based on the 2.08SPL. But seeing you already have 3.14 on your phone officially the only way to know what HSPL will do is to install it.

When you go to the HTC site you have to pick United Kingdom as your country then look for the ROM under support> HD2

I'm from Sri Lanka and I got my phone from Singapore. When I checked the HTC site there is a ROM upgrade for my phone. But when I tried to download the software, its asking for the Location (it say Asia 1 & 2)? Which location should I select?

Anthony please assist. My S/N cannot download the latest ROM update on HTC website. It says the download is not suitable for my phone. Here are my details:

My Wife has a HD2 and a black berry and when I cracked my HD2 screen, she loaned me her BB. No way was she parting with her HD2. The HD2 is for those that are not simple minded and have a need for what it can do. It does not matter if you are a woman or a man. What are you going to say next? Men know nothing about cooking?

it can even edit .docx files
you will want to have an unlimited data plan if you are using push and you have big attachments because with push on, auto data disconnect dose not work.
