Anybody notice that HTC HD2 is awesome with Android 2.2 froyo?
my facebook friend posted it the other day. I really want to get this stuff but don't have the ability to do so technically.

It's amazing that this phone can run window 6.5 and android 2.2 at the same time!

High Tech, 27 Sep 2010One thing I did notice is that the data cannot be turned of... moreTry a program called “data controller” that is what I used when I had the dual sim card holder installed on this phone. You can get it on Omarket. From there you just turn off the parts of the sim data you don’t want to use. (I say parts because different SIMs gives different options in the interface.)

High Tech, 27 Sep 2010Anthony, I would say give it a try... It works very well...... moreOne thing I did notice is that the data cannot be turned of by BsB Tweaks like you could... I think it has to do with the diff time profiles in CHT (Day, Night, work, etc.)... The data is turned on or off based on the profile... You open BsB Tweaks to turn off, but once you turn off/on the phone the data is back on... I don't have a data plan, I use wifi mostly at home or other places. So that popup does get on your nerves.....

Had some issues, but I think it's a matter of the dev making it work with there ROM... Already Omega ROM has this built in... I downloaded it, but hasn't installed yet... Will play with this until I get my shipping info from HTC to return phone, so thay can fix my headphone jack........

I've been using it for a few hours now, and I must say it's really nice... It gives you the Android feel (multi pages 7 with 4 sub levels to cust even more)... That's 28 pages to cust how you like... And the add-on weather widget is nice... The RSS feed widget I haven't tried yet.... With this update you really don't need Spb Shell to me..... Besides Spb Shell is taking far to long to release............

[deleted post]To who take waiting for WP 7 read this :
25 September 2010 - Windows Phone 7 has decided to pick up a popular feature from Apple and Google - tethering. Brandon Watson, Director of Microsoft Windows Phone 7 has announced through Windows Weekly Podcast that WP7 will support tethering, but leaving the final decision in the hands of telco operators whether to enabled it or not. Tethering turns your phone into a modem, allowing computers to forgo a wired line to connect to the Internet.

Update: It looks like Microsoft just refuted WP7's ability to tether and stated that WP7 does NOT officially support tethering. Despite earlier comments from Brandon Watson, it looks like tethering will not make it to the RTM version of WP7.

Anthony, 27 Sep 2010say "I'm sorry HTC" and buy back a HD2. LOL or y... moreYa desire hd spec looks pretty good……but battery is pretty disappointing….knowing Android is such a power hungry OS. And I really do not like the feel of Android. I used android on my hd2. I wish htc make hd2 in blackberry form factor(all those 1gh cpu, 512 ram etc)….i am sold if they make one. Nobody wants to compete with blackberry….everyone after iphone. There are lots of ppl like me prefer physical keyboard like bb(not slider one though). May be I will be switching to iphone4….sth I am familiar with as I've played a lot with iphone eventhough I've not owned one.

or you could get a Desire HD if you into Android, it looks good.
wp7 still look like crap so I don't think you want to wait on that. hope microsoft can make me eat those words but it doesn't look that way.

I’m not in the mood to deal with too many bugs, but it looks soooo good.
