Open Opera and type "opera:config" in the address bar. You'll then be in the config page. Find the section "User Prefs".
In there you should find something called "Cache Directory4". Just change that path to any directory you already made in your storage card
(for example : "\Storage Card\OperaCache"). Scroll to bottom of page and hit Save. exit opera and restart your phone to make shore the settings are kept.

If you don’t already have the HD2, What is the point of buying a win mo phone to hack it, to put on an incomplete ported Android OS? When you can use the same money to buy a HTC DESIRE that comes with Eclair from the factory and will be officially upgraded to froyo.
Know what you want and buy that. Don’t plan to buy a dog and ask “it has 4 legs, can I turn it in to a cat because that is what I really want?”

Hi Guys,
Can Someone tell me please, if Google SkyMap works well in HD2 with Android? This application uses the digital compass, the accelerometer and the GPS (if available).

Hi, Anthony. I wonder whether the 65K color of HD2 is due to the limitation of Win Mo or not? If yes, is it possible to have 16 million colors when the HD2 is running with froyo? Thanks in advance coz I'm planning to buy a new phone but I am undecided whether to buy HD2 or Samsung Galaxy S?

But I already see your problem.
Your free internal storage is too low. There in not enough free space for the OS to make “swap files” (a.k.a. virtual memory) there in not enough free space for running programs to store temporary data.
Your free space is so low your phone should freeze every time you try to make or get a call.
The rule of any windows OS, may it be desktop or mobile, is 10% of the storage drive should be free in order for the OS to be able to defragment it. When you drop below 10% it becomes unstable and starts to shot down drivers or freeze. If you are over 10% but nearing it, the OS will start to run slow. So in your case for best performance you need to get that internal storage free space back up to about 50mb. There is a reason this phone has a SD card and you can install programs on it as well, it’s so you can leave most of the internal storage free for the operations of the OS and the running programs.
The HD2 is more like a mini computer than it’s like a phone. So computer rules apply not old school phone rules
If you can’t work out how best to clean up the storage, you can just hard rest the system and start from scratch. But this time store your data and install the programs to the memory card. Also change the settings of your programs that save files to auto save to the SD. Set mail attachments, bluetooth files, and browser catch to go to the SD,

Now if the Xda Dev can get a fully functional Android ready for the HD2 I would be a happy camper. If that happens, I will put off buying a new phone til 2011 or 2012. Hopefully they can get a working version of WP7 on the HD2 as well by early 2011. I'm not going to jump the gun again like I did for the HD2 (and not get WP7 update). I'll wait to see what all the players release at the end of 2010 and 2011 and 2012. I want rush to buy like I did with the HD2. Now you can get the HD2 for almost half what I paid. I'll do that for my next phone. Wait to price drop.... Besides the HD2 is still VERY MUCH useful thanks to Xda and others (Android and WP7 to come??).... Also want to see what Android v3 is all about. It's been rumored to be locked down like iphone and WP7?????

High Tech, 14 Aug 2010I sent it to HTC repair in Texas (US). Not to another count... moreok if you live in the US your ok.
i don't so i had to get paper work before i send it out so i could give fedex when it was comming back in.
or i would have had to pay tax like i was a phone i just buy.

Hi can anybody tell me why my hd2 gets freezee twice or more a day and cant get back to normal unleess put out battery it wasnt like that m using this phone for 5 months please tell me is it just because i hv been using facebook for 2 days nd it is happening since then.I hv got uptodate Rom.please tell me its solution.thanks

High Tech, 13 Aug 2010Anthony. How long did HTC take to repair your HD2 and did t... moreFrom the time they got my phone to the time it took to ship it back out took about 1 ½ weeks. (So I did not have my phone for about 3 weeks) But my problem was easy, the display was cracked. So they new what had to change. Your problem is more complicated. But I don’t think you will get a new phone. If they can’t find the exact part that is giving the problem they most likely will just change the entire motherboard.
You also have to keep following up on it ever 3 days or so. Don’t depend on a call.
By the way if it went to fix outside of your country I hope you got the customs paper work that has your phone SN and states it went to fix and will be returning (from the comp. you used to ship it out). Because you going to have to give that to fedex when you get your tracking number, so when they go to clear it you don’t get charged tax again.

Anthony. How long did HTC take to repair your HD2 and did they call you with what they found first? Or did they just fix your phone and send it back to you??
Still no word from HTC repair on my HD2 I sent in last week. I called to verify they have it. Rep said they're still looking at it (seeing what's wrong). Don't know when it will be fixed. Will follow-up again next week.... I'm hoping they'll just replace the phone with another one?????
Recap: The Quiklist screen kept popping up. It use to go away, but now it stopped the phone from making calls and the screen kept blinking on and off when you plugged into the PC (Screen will blink on and off with the quiklist screen there as well). Also the phone would not turn off. When you selected phone off from quiklist the phone would shut down, but turn right back on....

i have a htc hd2. i am using android froyo 2.2, booted from memory card.entire os working well,no lagging,no hang.i want to store/install all my application to memory card instead of internal memory,for that i installed modinstalllocation.but i am unable to install the prgms. on memory card. plz guide me.

where did you get that phone?
the only way for you to get an update it you hack the SPL and you can change your ROM to a next version.
