Are you able to install the new SMS function update that is available on HTC website? I am referring to "LEO_S00276-02.exe" file. I am assuming that you are also having ROM v1.48 (HTC India ROM). Let me know if you are able to install this hot fix or are getting any error while installing it.

1) Does the SMS fix fixes limit of sending... moreFor your 1st question about sms......install BsB tweak. This tweak is really helpful & must for hd2 owner. It does lots of things from allowing 10 tabs in opera to sms to 50 recipients.
For 2nd question.....Hanging & Freezing is the second name of Win mobile. Every win mobile device freezes & hangs. Its software issues. But the thing is ....how often?? If your device is freezing frequently ...then you need to update your rom. I think your rom version is 1.48. You need 1.66 version...this will fix camera, sms bugs as well and is also stable.

2) Secondly my HD2 hangs when i click "File Explorer" and then i have restart the devise. i cannot excess my documents or my storage card data.?
Used cleanRAM but nothing helped.

I'm no hi-tech junkie like others, technically I'm not sound with WM OS eventhough I've been using WM PDA phones since 2001. So I would say you'll need to prepare yourself with going into a new OS, WM which will be totally different from Nokia's symbian, HOWEVER, WM's user friendly too, if you're a 1st time WM & HD2 user, you'll gonna lose some bedtime hours - happened to me when I first switch to the O2 XDA 1 from a normal phone.
The choice will be solely yours, on whether HD2 or other models with different OSes. I chose HD2 because I'm used to WM and with the integration of iPhone's finger swapping, zoom pinching feature, I feel this unit would be a good combination. Some of your friends might tell you to go for iPhone or Android phones so it'll be a tough decision for you. My personal opinion - Android's really full of potential, this might be my next target phone OS but not now and depending on their future move. Apple's well "marketed" but not for me yet. I use my HD2 as a back up phone + organizing tool and my primary phone for calling and receiving calls is with my Motorola becoz of the CrystalTalk technology - noise cancelling & voice amplifying feature. HD2's battery is not bad too as compared to some other makes and models, so if you're high on the overall usage, do keep a car charger or extra charger as smartphones tend to consume more battery usage than normal phone. The beauty is that once you get to know the good things about this kind of phone, you'll find that it'll be a little more difficult to go back to the normal phone, that's why it also costs more.

Wait WM 7 what they can offer .Change to Android is because want to try out something different. So in love with the live wallpaper he he. For Android phone that on market that can fight with our HTC HD2, Galaxy S is one of them. if u no need for front camera..for me I prefer HTC EVO 4G. good day..

I wouldn't pull the trigger yet on Andriod devices (There specs are nice), but I would wait til 2011... I have a feeling we will see some GREAT spec phones on Andriod (I'm waiting).... Besides the HD2 is still a NICE phone......

Oh yes did i tell about HTML5 compliance????
our beloved HD 2 is as of now incapable.

Its been Long time to see you guys here.
As of now windows 7 sucks when compared to froyo android.
By the time windows 7 is out Ginger bread would kill it very badly.
Now skyfire ,skype ,Adobe and so many others have stopped support for win 6.5 or less.i cannot watch flash videos now on HD2.4.3 inch screen is of less use.May be its time to switch to Android Galaxy S.
Whats your opinion Guys. ????

i am currently using stock ROM "2.10.531.1(82076)WWE" on T-mobile USA phone.
to install 3rd party apps or "TCPMP PLAYER", do i need to to install "HSPL 1024/SPL-2.08.HSPL" first? then do i have to install """""MultiMedia SuperNova Hi-Performance Enhancement ROM Plus+7.7.7 X SpbTV2""""?

so if you have a 1.66 ROM that fix is not for you.
if you have 1.66 you should not be having sms problems.
