ashley, 05 Jul 2010What do you do if your wallpaper is not changing?May I know ,do you use WaPac Wallpaper setting? You must set according to the interface in the phone.I'm using Co0kie v1.8.5. Goto set Wallpaper>choose one wallpaper>homepage>look for toogle Restart Sense>click and everythings fine.

U only mentioned positive si... moreGot mine HD2 for almost 8 months already (Nov 2009, first UK batch/shipment) - heavy usage (internet/news, games, music/movies) due to 4 hrs commuting every day + regular calls/messaging and there is NO SINGLE SCRATCH ON THE (beautiful!) SCREEN NOR DECOLUOIRING OF THE CASE.
Re. other faults/issues: I heard about them but never seen.
BTW- it is not branded, unlocked, clear & genuine handset.

And I suggest the same to all users, that if u are realooking for stable/strong/multifucntion phone pls look for other options other then HTC.

1."NETCFv35.wm.armv4i.cab" first then the
2."Co0kie.HomeTab_v1.8.0" and then the
3."CHTEditor.v1.8.0"
All programs are for free and excellent!!!

- Unstable OS
- Extremely poor battery life
- 5MP camera not better then sony/Nokia. Poor Camera in its class
- OS has initially bugs(camera/calender/sms) which have been fixed with the patches they called Upgrade. This is actually not upgrade its was bug fixing.
-If you use inbuilt router your full charge bettery will empty in one hour or less.
- Proximity sendor does not work with SIP / VOIP calls.
- No inbuilt VOIP
- Still pictures have very high granes in it.
- No printer software installed
- Over a period of 2-3 month your phone border color start striping out.
- The inbuilt LED have yellow tone its not high bright which affect the white balance on picture quality.
- Supplied earphone only worked with this phone only and can't be used with other

I recently baught two HTC phone from UAE, one for me and second for my brother. I was thinking how to transfer my conatcts from nokia to HTC and but after two weeks my HTC phone got hanged and never boot up. I have contacted HTC service center and beleive me there responce is pathatic.I had to send 4-5 mails to get their responce also They were also not covering my phone under warrenty (In a month time) cause I was travelling internationally and they says warrenty applicable on same country. Issue keep going on and later HTC stop even replying to my mails. Within two month time the second phone I purchase exibits the same problem and dead without even using it. I don't understand why they have come up with such a unstable and premature design. I had been using nokia over long time and never face such issues. So either I have to travel back to Dubai just to repair my phone spending hundred's of $$ or simply keep the phone under the car tyre and listen a crash sound of $$$x2 phone. Or the thrid option is to tell all prospective buyer to consider before you become victom of premature and unstable HTC phone

I bought HTC HD2 this days, and I must say that this phone is really Awesome. It has so many features in him, and alot of useful apps and great Full Screen Games for it on the internet. I've installed some few apps & games for it on my storage card, and the phone isn't go slow at all, it's still very very fast and incredible good for usage.. I'ts like a Real PC in your Pocket. I Recommend HTC HD2 very much to all the people who can't decide which phones to buy, I don't recommend iPhone at all, the iPhone is a real crap compared to this HD2, I never had an iPhone & I know that I will never buy it, couse it's such a real crap, just look in this video to understand better what's generally bad in iPhone, and what's cool in HD2 : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsQHRtUtW0c .
And by the way, the speaker is very loud, and it plays very clean the sound. The 5MP Camera is also very good for usage, and very handly becouse it has Dual-LED Flash. The battery is also very very good, especially for such a big Screen (4,3 inches), couse such a Screen like HD2 must consume alot of battery, but the battery is really awesome too.. So in My Opinion, the HD2 is practically one of the best smartphones (or PocketPC)ever created at the moment. So.. really I very recommend to all this phone. :) Good Luck !

I recently purchased a HD2 after many weeks of research. After returning home and turning the phone on, I quickly realized that the phone provider I bought it from, (Telstra) in there wisdom, have locked the top three quick-links on the home-page. This angers me, how can I personalize the phone to suit my own requirements. They have locked in three applications that I would rarely use. Does anyone no how I can unlock these?
