but as it was said on the page it is a replacement for the HTC BLACK theme.(so its really like a theme and its not moding the bar which would let you use a next theme but keep the same bar look.
there are some colored ones on the site. but thay don't have the htc logo.

hello i bought this htc hd2 from uk
i need update rom from 1.66 and i choose uk web site
and i put the serial number and i download rom update in my computer put
i have original htc unlocked if i do update is still unlocked or will be locked sim cart from htc
when i put serial number in htc rom update and i download after instill in my htc hd2 will be ask me again bit serial number or not just first time can any one help me

Anonymous, 30 May 2010I've never used a windows phone and neither have i used HTC... morewhich ever ROM the phone was unlocked with, that will be the ROM you will want updates for.or if you change your ROM your self. you look for updates for that.

I've never used a windows phone and neither have i used HTC but i have a question? If i had an HTC HD2 which was originally, on say O2, but was unlocked and say i used a vodafone sim in the phone. Then will the phone be affected by any updates the phone requires?

Anthony, 30 May 2010lol all I got from what you said was, you wanted to change... moreHa! Ha! Sorry Anthony i was in a hurry to go out so i rushed the post.
Basically i have a cab for a glossy black taskbar & softkeys with a HTC logo in the middle, this makes the 2 softkeys look like two separate buttons to push for PHONE & MENU instead of one long bar with PHONE & MENU.
But this cab only works if i set my themes in TODAY as HTC BLACK setting, if i choose classic blue for example or any other colour then the buttons disappear & i'm left with the long bar again, this would be ideal if everything stay the same but only the colour changed but it seems like HTC BLACK is the Default setting thats why it only works with that.

that's only because I could not find one that didn't take the link for digital compass and google maps out of footprints and the album.
I am using the htc 1.66 ROM that I have moded, tweaked, updated & ajusted my settings, my self.

all I got from what you said was, you wanted to change the color of the task bar and soft keys bar.
you can change the color by changing the win mo theme (not the sense UI theme) in the "today settings" in "all settings"
you can download a default win mo theme with the color you want install and load it.

Anthony, 30 May 2010Touch X music tab controls transparent background.cab T... moreGreat! I've have a Touch X cab for bluetooth toggle which works great so i'll def check these out. I'm still hunting for a cab that will change my softkeys into buttons but allow me to change the colour of the top & bottom bars, all the ones i've found removes the button look unless i have their colour. Hope this makes sense! :o)
If you can help with this i'll have to consider buying you a cape with a big S on the back. Tee! Hee!

suzafan, 30 May 2010Forgot to say that I have HD2, European version with 1.48 s... moreI don't even have 3G where I am and I use everything with 2G or wi-fi for speed.
I did turn of 3G so the phone would use less power.
you can use "HX hack bata2" to turn it off. you can use Omarket to find it.

Touch X 50 percent opaque calendar TAB background.cab

There are more things there that you may want to try but not all will work with cookie. If you are going to try more, try and test them one at a time. There are a few with names close to what I mentioned above so get the name exact.

Hi,
After 2 months of using my HD2, I found a problem with the PHONE function.
I went to my summer house and there is very weak 3G signal.
Long story short - when there is no 3G signal available, I cannot use my PHONE function (when I try to call it only beeps 3 times) and I am unreachable. The internet is working normaly!
When I come to the place with 3G signal, everything is fine!
I reset the phone thousand times, tried to disable HSDPA in the "connetions-advanced" menu but it didn't help...
Have you experieneced such problems and how can I solve it?
