Tank, 29 May 2010its my first windows mobile fone. wat shuld i do 2 improve ... moreas someone new to windows Mobile, there is a lot you need to know/learn inorder for you to fully understand why windows Mobile works the was it does and how best to keep things running smooth. you have to understand it has more in common with a PC than it does with any phone you may have used.
I will be happy to teach you a lot that you would not find in the manual (over some days) but first you sould know all the basics of the stuck phone before you go moding it.
go to the UK support page and download the user manual (not the quick start guide) and read and try every thing in it. I'm not going to teach what you can read your self, I will help if you don't understand somthing. in this learning period you will have to factory reset a few times, so don't be afraid to try anything. at the end of this you will be able to set the phone exactly the way you want it.

    are you up to this?
do you already have a lot of contacts, task and calendar entry on the phone?

Tank, 29 May 2010hey yea i downloaded both. the ROM is exactly 190mbI'll give you the explanation of why and how to do what you have to do.

All HTC win mo phones has a small program called SPL built into the internal ROM. The SPL looks at the digital signature of the ROM you want to install to see if it is a match upgrade with the digital signature of the ROM already on the phone.
Your phone has a German unlocked ROM but I gave you a SN to download a English unlocked ROM.
There digital signature will not match.
This is where hacking the SPL comes in.
                    The hack is call HardSPL.
HSPL is a modified SPL that you replace your original SPL with that does not do the digital signature check, because of this you will be able to install any ROM you want, no matter what digital signature it has.

Now on to how to do it....
Your phone must have more than 50% power before you start.
Connect the phone to your PC in sync mode using the USB cable.
You said you don't know much German so when you connect the phone a menu comes up with 3 options, sync mode, drive mode, modem mode, in that order. You want to pick the first one.
One your phone shows as connected in ActiveSync. Run the HSPL program on your PC and it will guide you in what to do.
Once that is done. Restart the phone and connect to ActiveSync in sync mode once again. Now you can run the ROM you download from your PC for it to install on the phone.
Instructions to install the ROM is right on the link you gave if you feel like reading it. If you get stuck explain everything on detail and I'll get you out of the jam.
