scorpion 2012, 22 May 2010i need to decide betwen hd2 and xperia x10 can someone help... morePersonally i think build quality of the hd2 is a million times better than the x10.
Also, the x10, like most sony smartphones, is incredibly overpriced. at least over here it is. its even more expensive than the hd2 by quite a margin.

Note: you should know by doing that you would have effectively change you HD2 from being from Vodafone to being a O2 HD2 with all there network settings and locks. So try your sim in his/her phone first and see how it works out before you do it, because that is what it is going to be like (just like his/hers in every way. If there phone is O2 sim locked, your phone will also become sim locked.)
What version ROM do you want? It may be better to get a HTC generic ROM in the same version you want.

Anonymous, 21 May 2010What happens if you install the rom latest ROM that is not ... moreThis wont be possible even if you did download the upgrade with your friends serial number, as soon as you try to run the software it will stop with error message. The only way round it is to hack the rom. :o)

What happens if you install the rom latest ROM that is not listed for you region or the network , for instance i have a Vodafone HD2 ,but i want to install O2's ROM coz that is the most latest one (Lets say i have managed to download the upgrade using my friend's Serial Number .

Im using the HTC desire and with android 2.1 and it is truly awesome. same specs as the hd2 but with android and slighly smalled screen. The Desire is the best HTC right now

[deleted post]I'm currently using hd2 and its the best phone at this moment.
But I'm sold to this new coming Android 2.2 Froyo. It sounds great in paper but lets see if htc make device similar to hd2 with this updated Android OS. May be I will sell my hd2 for that.

Google purchased a company called Bumptop this month. Bumptop is a 3D desktop for windows. It turns your windonws into a 3D work space, with cool features. After Google bought them. Bumptop stil let you download a free copy til first week of May.
I think these 3D features will be in the up coming Andriod phones. In reading the article. Goole is going to us this in there tablet PC's, etc. It didn't mention phones, but I think it will find its way to the Andriod phones in the future (2011, 2012, etc..).... If this will be in Andriod phones?? I will buy.... Imagine that on a touch screen phone???? Check it out............
