Can’t say the same for my wife she is the facebook junky, lol
I have seen her log into Farmville using the skyfire browser.
And I have FIM on my phone which you can do facebook instant messaging with.
When you install Omarket tomorrow you can use it to find and download both programs.

    vbp, 05 May 2010i have english europion rom , phone is factory unlocked pho... moreIf you are doing a stand ROM flash, the only way something could go wrong is if you pull the cable out when the ROM is flashing, or you lose power on your PC. The SPL on the phone will not let you install a corrupted or incorrect ROM. and a ROM install will not start if your phone has less than 50% battery power, even thou the actual flash only takes about 1-2 minuets.

    1. When you flash a ROM to your phone it over writes the ROM that is there now.
    So to go back to the old ROM you would have to find a copy of it. (Which will not be on the HTC site but are on other web sites).

    2. Flashing a ROM does not change the booth loader a.k.a bios and once you load into there you can recover from any crap you may have done.

    3. You don’t need to load into the OS to recover from a major phone failure (that is just one of the easy ways to do it) all you really need is
    a. working booth loader
    b. volume and power keys
    c. none corrupted ROM
    d. SD card for the phone.
    e. card reader to get files on to the SD card so it can be loaded directly to the phone with out the use of a sync cable or software.

    4. ROM flashing is not backward compatible. So you are going to have to do an unauthorized flash to restore an older ROM version.

      i have english europion rom , phone is factory unlocked phone.

      now if suppose i change from 1.48 to 1.66 rom from uk websight of htc,

      during the process if suppose something goes wrong than can i installed back my original rom? if not what is next process? does phone gets back to it's original state

      kindly note i m not worried about my data because i have a back up with sprite back up as well as spb back up , i m worried about only operating systom?

        I will do it tomorrow. BTW in HD2 using Facebook is a hassle. I have a good experience in htc hero. Android base Facebook application is much more better than WinMo. What do u say?

          Also there is an upgrade available on HTC website well 2 different Upgrades, One is for O2 only which is my network provider the version it has is 1.72 but HTC's own version is 1.66 something.Which one do u think i should go for

              Received my htc hd2 yesterday, so far im loving it.OS Version is 5.2.2 and so on ,Rom Version 2.5.2.Question is where do u download ur apps and games from coz the Markete place is just a waste of time.

                  1)Push Mail
                  2)CMCC(GPRS)
                  3)Internet
                  4)Active Data Connections(Disconnect only)

                  Right now all above are enabled. Just wondering if i disable no2 gprs(CMCC)...end of story...i mean without gprs other options are useless. Right or wrong?

                  One more thing, I enabled push mail and i have hotmail setup as my email client. But i dont get push mail. I need to go menu & press send/receive to see if any new mails arrived. Is this "push mail"??

                        I don’t think you are using the right file. That is why you are not getting the gray screen
                        When you extract the files from the Original ROM which is a .exe file, you should get 11 files in it.

                        RUU_signed.nbh
                        README.doc
                        ROMUpdateUtility.exe
                        RUUResource.dll
                        ModelID.fig
                        rapitool.exe
                        ErrorUSB.fig
                        ErrorBattery.fig
                        RUUGetInfo.exe
                        EnterBootloader.exe
                        ROMUpateUtility.cfg

                        The file you want to rename to LEOIMG.nbh and put on the root of the SD card is the RUU_signed.nbh and that file is about 273,786kb
                        All the rest of files are not needed for the SD card flash you are going to do to take off the HSPL

                            Hi Anthony

                            This is Raj from Bangladesh again. Thanks a lot. I did it. i wiped my t-mobile stock ROM and install HTC original 1.66 ROM with HSPL as you suggest. now my hd2 running perfectly with edge service, provided by my cellular operator. But i cant stop it, the service turn ON automatically. I saw a earlier post where mention about it and also a solution. i am trying to have it.

                                Any new on the new pro3 the pro2 is very sluggish and wish it had the speed of hd2 which is awesome.

                                Is there any way i can make pro 2 faster like software upgrage or buy and fit new processoer and rom or ram?

                                  that is not a ROM from the HTC site.
                                  use a HTC ROM that you get using your S/N
                                  that is the kind of ROM you want the SPL from.
                                  the setep i gave is for the original HTC ROMs (ROMs that end with .exe)
