Open ActiveSync on the phone, tap menu, tap Connect via Bluetooth and set that up.
Once that is set up any time you need to connect, you just open activeSync on the phone and pick connect via bluetooth from menu

vbp, 05 May 2010i have english europion rom , phone is factory unlocked pho... moreYou may not install the other ROMs which are not "originally" provided for your HD2. For example, I have a unlocked German version. I can not just download the ROM from HTC UK and install on it.
However, you can use HSPL or SSPL to install any ROM on your HD2. Please refer to this on xda-developers.com. You will find anything you need for ROM installation there.

Is there a... moreIf you are going on the net using an office net work, the I.T. of the office has blocked the site you want to go on.
If you are using data from your SIM the site must have flash or jave script. Install the skyfire browser and that browser will get you on to most sites that your I.T. department is not blocking.

One of them could be causing the problem?
1.66 ROM is not perfect but it is stable.
But I do see there are hot fix file for Handwritig stability and music stability for your ROM on the HTC site so you may want to put them on.

Thnx for the reply ,Omarket wouldnt install on ... moreDownload it from a PC then copy it to the SD card and install it. (Sometimes you get a bad download when you download program installations from the internet over the phone)
Do not try to unzip it or anything like that the file is meant to be used just the way it was downloaded.
I have also heard of cases where people where getting part downloads on there PC when using the Chrome browser, so you may what to use IE to download the file.
I’m not the only person using that program or that site to get programs for this and other phones so it can’t be a site insecure issue that is stopping you.
I can tell you how to allow unsigned apps in Policies but I will only do that after you try what was mentioned above. Because my policies are set to block unsigned apps and Omarket did install on my phone.

If you want to use auto on all you and I mentioned, I can recommend “HD2Tweak” to turn off you data after a set idle time. But keep in mind any of the things you and I mentioned can turn the connection right back on without warning. I use a program called “Data Controller” to block access to sim data, no matter what the schedules of those programs say. And switch it back on only when I say it is ok to go on the net, but I don’t think that is what you want right now.
Anyway download HD2Tweak from the link below and after you install it…
Go to section 4.1 and change “4.1 Disconnect after…” from Deactivate (Default) to 5 minutes (if that is the time you want.)
Just remember that is an idle time counter, so if any net use happens in the 5 minutes the countdown starts over.

I just got dis phone 2days ago here in nigeria for $700. Well, I must confess d phone is superb wit d htc sense ui.the only drawback of d phone is d poor camera quality, even my old bb bold 9000 wit 2mp takes good picture more than the hd2. To top it all it's the best windows phone wit no bugs.

Why does phone not disconnect data connections once downloads are complete? Weather set to update every 3 hours and check 4 email every 4 hours. Received application from service provider to disconnect after 5 minutes, but this does not seem to be working properly.

Good morning Anthony, I bought my HD2 in SIngapore last Feb 21, 2010 and i'm in Manila, Philippines right now. The problem is it freezes (2 to 3X a week) or hangs, whether txting or opening applications. I followed your suggestions last March on closing applications after using it and also hard resetted the unit, and still problem persists. Details of my fone - SN-HT01PNW02456; ROM version is 1.66.707.1 (76641)WWE, ROM date-1-12-10; Manila version-2.5.19211619.0; Radio ver-2.06.51.07; OS ver-5.2.21869 (21869.5.0.82); Device used storage - 59.26MB; Free storage - 135.28MB; total program - 336.37MB; used program - 146.32MB; free program - 190.06MB. Now my question is, will i change or update my ROM? What ROM is better? If there is, where will I download it? thanks for the reply..more power..

Is there any stuff which could make htc sense on hd2 more stable? During sms, whenever i needed to backspace, more characters pops up instead of delete, funny thing is, characters are not only 'm,l' next to backspace, but 'd,f,g,h,b'
Another, i can't access some of webs, y is this so?

SharpKami, 05 May 2010My bad 2.5 is actually the Manila version Rom version is 1.43The S/N on your phone will decide which one it will let you download; it’s not your choice. You only have choice if you get the ROM from a next site or you have a next S/N to use. And still to use a ROM that is not a match with you S/N you will have to do a hack.
But one thing I can tell you is get rid of 1.43 and do it fast that ROM is crap.
