hi ammm i have a core player on my hd2 and the thing is everytime i play my music and i try to lock the phone by pressing end call/power button my core player stops playing. is this normal or are there any other ways to lock my phone while playing core player. thanks

Well I finally settled on a ROM (Energy w/Cookie v1.7.0)... So far so good... The only thing I'm missing is a cab to change my Settings Sreen icons... If anyone knows where I can download??? Please post... I've seen nice Settings Screen Icons in ROM's, but I don't want to install another ROM... I'm going to stick with Energy for now....

You don't need to copy to your desktop, unless you only have one microsdhc card reader (or none at all).
Amazon is good. Ebay is good too from good sellers. Just do a Google search for the best price around. Maybe...uh...Newegg.

Hi Anthony, I am currently using an 8 GB class 2 SD card which initially came with the phone and I found it to be insufficient in storage. I would like to know if I purchase a new 16 GB SD card, how do I exactly transfer all my installed programs from my old SD to my new SD? Will plain copy and paste work, eg.copy all the folders/files in my old SD to my desktop and from there to my new SD? Where do you recommend purchasing a 16 GB SD? Amazon? E-bay? Thanks for your help and time!

I don't think the prob... moreHardware-wise no problem at all. On software side, i do encounter problems often like... frozen screen(hanged), error messages. I think i need to hard reset one more time. I do have back-ups(My phone)but still pain in neck reinstalling stuffs. Besides this, it is very fast & smooth.
@Anthony...you got it right. I meant to say "Near perfection".

is there any softwa... moreWhy would you want software to make video calls on a phone that has no front cam?
Are you going to face the phone for them to see you but you can’t see them? You will not even be able to tell which part of you they are seeing because there is no self portrait mirror at the back of this phone. If video calls are that important to you, get a next phone. If you need a friend to see what you are doing from a HD2, send them a MMS or video e-mail.
Two way video software is a waste of time if the cam and the screen are not facing the same direction.

phone g , 20 Apr 2010you can actually download the reset app on the marketplace people are misunderstanding me.
I was replying to "language" post.
I was telling, not asking him/her, that a hard reset should put the phone back to the way it was when It first came out the box.
so if that did not happen, then it was a soft reset was done.
My questions about the steps he/she took was just for me to confirm that it was a soft reset done and not the hard reset that was needed.
there is no software to do a true hard reset because you do a hard reset with the phone off. and you don't boot into windows Mobile.
you boot into the boot loader.
