Language, 19 Apr 2010Hi all, Pls help me in changing the my phone language of my... more@Language: You dont mention where you are located, but my suggestion would be to find any Arabic speaking person to help you read the menu's on your screen. Make sure you read your owners manual well so that you know in which menu to change the settings to English. Good luck

hai anthony, im sorry i said streaming media in tools that was a mistake it is in multimedia (as u said). my mobile is htc hd2 with os version 5 2 21869 , rom version is 1.48.405.2 please help me to update rom to 1.66.i went back to see your email id i didnt get it.thanks in advance(i went back more than 100 posts among them u r rocking mostly )

That might correct several problems including freezing up.

In order for hard reset I press Simultaniously VoL up and VoL Down Button then Pressed Power key. Phone says ""this operation will delete all your personal data and reset all setting to manafacture default. Press VolUp to restore manufacture default"". I press VolUp key and restore process starts. Then msg appear ''Restore ...Completed. Press VolUp to boot. I press VolUp and phone reboos showing message ''preparing your phone for first time use'' and finally it comes up in Arabic language. Pls help

Nothing man made is perfect, so stop expecting to find that in man made things.
People them self aren’t perfect. So how can you make what you don’t know how to be your self?
And near to perfect (made by man) will cost a lot more than 750. You have not started to spend money as yet. Would you be willing to pay for near to perfect if that was to be made?

wats going on? Th... moreOh yes, that's the other reason why I recommend installing/using SPB Backup first before you do anything else.
It will save all you customized settings. I do incremental backup, and testing with it. But like I said before, it's just my way of doing things. lol

I don't think the problem of stability has to do with touchscreen.
I have been using touchscreen phones for the last few years, and I can tell you that touchscreen has nothing to do about it. In fact, I cannot even remember the last time I had a flip phone.
If you do have problems with your HD2, the problem is either ROM or software. I really doubt it is hardware issue. Most likely the problem that you have is 3rd party software compatibility.
I have the US HD2, and the OEM ROM is stable. I have no problem soft/hard resetting, or removing the battery.
Some software such as S2U2 is not totally compatible with the phone. Yet, I still use S2U2 with some settings off. For instance, the proximity sensor option from S2U2 might appear to work, but after a few tries...screen goes blank: so I have to remove the battery to perform a physical soft reset.
You gotta know what you are doing when you are playing with highly customizable PDA phone.

wats going on? They are bringing so called new revolutionary features in upcoming new iphone which i have been using in my nokia n95 3 yrs ago.
But one thing great about iphone & apple is ...when they do....they do in great way. For eg copy/paste they got last yr but i can say they have the best copy/paste in touch screen. Same thing with camera...their 3mp is better than my 5mp.
I need phone which is fast & non-freezing....tired of reset & removable of battery. My next phone will be non-touch screen phone...sth like blackberry. I've done lots of time ..hard reset in my hd2...its pain in neck to reinstall & customize settings again. I spent my hard earned 750dl in this phone and i have a reason to expect everything perfect from this phone.

Hi all, Pls help me in changing the my phone language of my hd2. I just buy new HTC HD2 from UAE and it was working fine with english language. While playing with option 'value added AP installer' my phone language changed from English to Arabic. Now, I want to restore my original (pre-installed)phone language i.e. English. I have given soft and hard reset to phone but still phone language is Arebic. Pls help as I am unable to use phone..

Magnificent phone......definetely Masterpice....No Doubt...Using fully loaded 16 gb with dvd movies,No lags,no hang nor restart.........Damn stable!!!
for better battery,shut the HTC Sense ( I know it will be kind a low profiling the device,but hell,it saves the battery life significantly;or at least dont use the weather or animated wallpaper)......
For movie freak and long distance traveller,this is the stuff.....it will be more damn crazy if you have the 2400mah battery as well........MONSTER....!!!
Worth every penny..........Damn Good!!!
