Do yourself a favour and download the user manual from the HTC site.
It is a PDF file and can be found under support. If you read the book you will not ask such basic questions about using the phone and what it has and how to use it.

You write down your ROM version number so you can download it from XDA website. If you want to put it back on.
And as I explained the first time the SPL and digital signature is built into the ROM.
This is not something you talk to understand, you just have to man up and do it. I have done flashing 5 different ways just for the experience
SPL, goldcard, SSPL, HSPL and SD card flash.
I can tell you HSPL is a no brainer
No point in me trying to teach you how it is undone if you don’t even know what it looks like to do it in the first place.

BUT iPhone suck in terms of ALL-IN-ALL!! :S:S what a shame, yeah?!

I'm an iPhone 3G user, and this is third time that I'm writin' in here ! plz help me in my decision! I'don really know shoul I wait for the new iPhone (4G called maybe) or Go and Buy this phone, HD2.???

I just cannot manage to see my p... moreyou can confirm but you don't need to. the only way you will have a different SPL is if you hacked your phone before. and even then when you try to put on HSPL it just would not go on. nothing bad will happen.
don't let the info overload that is there just for your knowledge through you off. give your brain a rest an don't try to complicate something that is very easy. HSPL2 is a newer version to HSPL. it don't matter which one you use to put it on. the difference is in how it comes off (if you ever want to take it off)
in my opinion if you using HSPL all you need to remember is the ROM # that is on the phone now. when you do a SD card flash with a ROM with that # you will get back your old everything including the SPL.
lol. I just don't get it. Some people always saying win mo not user friendly. But when I give simple instruction on hacking it. Every one thinks there must be more to it.

3. Install HD2 TWEAK and use it to turn off keypad song.

I just cannot manage to see my p... moreyou need to confirm your SPL is 1.42, before you can install HSPL. as HSPL 1.42 only work on SPL 1.42... press volume down button and power button only after you shut down your phone, so that you can see your SPL...

I just cannot manage to see my present SPL version (when I reset it while pressing level down key, it just resets, doesn't show me the SPL...)
Or I cannot see it...
And do I have to match the SPL with the HSPL?
For example, if my SPL is 1.42, I have to install HSPA 1.42?

Hi Anthony, Brain picking time!
Is there another way to Bluetooth pics & music other then goin into the blue tooth application & using BT send object, it's a bit long winded & cant always find what i'm looking for. If i open a pic or music track & go into the menu it will give me options to send by text or e-mail but no bluetooth, this would normally be the easy way, am i missing something? Thanks :o)

Instructions
Unzip the HSPL on your pc
Hook your phone to the PC in sync mode and run the HSPL from the PC. Follow the onscreen instructions.
Then when it is done, just run the ROM you got from HTC from your PC, with the phone connected in sync mode.
It’s that easy.

1)100% battery: can not even install in my phone. It says "installation unsuccessful choose another location. I tried to install in internal memory also. I have touchx task manager & time icon top. I heard...can not have both time icon & battery indicator. Right?
2)How to disable vibration... only in keyboard? I like key board without vibration but prefer vibration in other application.
3)How to disable sound in 'phone". I mean..when you press numbers i produce sound which i donot like and its disturbing to others when you are in public place.
PS: Ppl here keep asking you same questions over & over. Why don't you save FAQ in.. one note or ms word and just do copy & paste. That way it saves your time & help others as well:)
