      I don't need any specific language on my ROM, ENglish will be just fine...
      I understood everything now and I am interested into getting that new ROM from you, but I only don't know how to change that SPL to HSPL...

        But I can see why Anthony and his wife might want another HD2.

        First of all, the HD2 with a gell case doesn't look that bad.

        I gave my Omnia i900 to my wife. And when I put my HD2 next to my old phone, the only difference I see is that the Omnia i900 looks more like a kid phone. Yet, the HD2 was still sleek due to its thinness. The look is not as "manly" or gigantic as I have thought it would be.

        The suggestion of going from WM to Blackberry I think is simply a 'no'.

        I can understand the suggestion of having an Android as a backup though.

        But since the HD2 is such a great phone, and Anthony has all the softwares/investments and settings for the HD2 it makes perfect sense to have another HD2 for the wife that already got a hard look for the HD2.

        Plus, Microsoft is screwing stuff with WP7. It is another reason why I would grab WM6.5.x phone while it is still existent.

        Other than that, the solution WILL be either Android or multi-core phone to make Microsoft decisive about real multi-tasking OS.

          Part of the SPL job is to look at the digital signatures of the new ROM you want to install, to is if it is a match with the ROM you already have installed. A matching signature will be allowed a none-match will be denied. You S/N is just an easy way for HTC to tell you upfront that it is/isn’t a match.
          If you were to use an S/N from a phone that have a matching signature with the update you want you would be able to download from HTC but your SPL on the phone would block you from installing a mismatched signature.
          That is where HardSPL comes in. You would use hardSPL to replace the SPL on your phone. HardSPL was made to do all the functions just like SPL but leave out 1. The one thing it leaves out is, it does not do a digital signature check. So you would be able to install any ROM mismatched signature or no signature at all.
          I have an S/N that would let you download an English ROM from HTC. But if you want a next language I know where the same official HTC ROMs can be found on XDA web site and it will not require an S/N to download it from there.
          If you want to do this, let me know what language ROM you want to put on and I will try to put you on the right path to get it. And give you the link for the HSPL as well.

            That is the standard for Microsoft word 2007. Once that can be done, what you are saying would be something to think about.

              I have seen my friend android mobile with doc, ppt excel file reading and editing in same way as on winmo with latest app ,Quickoffice.plus synchronize with Gmail multiple accounts account. plus many more tools utility apps 90 % of which are free.plus HTC Desire supports full flash 10.1.u can play almost all videos on web.My next voice would be either HTC Desire or GSM EVO4.I believe this is enough for Me.

                  but literally the build quality, speakers, symbian operating system, processor speeds, the camera, video recording, the flash, everything sucks compared to htc

                    I like to buy this phone HTC HD2 bec. it has really great performance and features, and now I have currently the OMNIA II and it has lots of features too but still I want to buy this phone to HTC HD2... thank you

                      I did little tricks with this vol system. I have split settings and wat i did is.....make it unsplit ...that way I can increase/decrease in 1 bar after that again change to split.

                      Decided to buy another hd2 for your wife? I think you should go with htc desire/legend or nexus1....for the sake of change. Android is the way to go in future. I love my hd2 but if i have to buy another second phone i will go either with android or blackberry. And this phone does not look good on women. Hd2 is more like Man's phone.

                        As for the song
                        If you have it split
                        Ring tones move in increments of 3 bars
                        System can move in increments of 1 bar.
                        If it is not split then you can get it to move
                        In increments of 1 bar
                        The best way to do it is to tap the volume key then slide your hand on the volume image on the screen.
                        I also know that some colour custom taskbars mess up the volume controls. So if you are running one you should take it off and see if that helps.

                            And I don’t know if I want a wim mo 7 phones. That is what I’m playing a wait and see game with.
                            When I’m ready for a next phone that is when I will know if I’m moving on to android or not.
                            My wife getting a new phone may not be able to wait on a HD3
                            That is why I am thinking about a next HD2. There is still nothing to beat it as yet.

                                had the phone for a little while and i have to call it awesome makes the iphone look like a 3315 m only problem is finding apps for it i just can seem to find anything good out there any one know of some trustworthy sites ??

                                    I am from Croatia (that's where I bought the phone).
                                    Can I download and put some other ROM for some other Countries?
